This is an awesome discussion you guys. Feel free to poke holes in my arguments, and point out opposing viewpoints. It is the best thing for all of us.

In 2004, I read the 2-part article by Pete Brady in Cannabis Culture about AN. I was sold. I spent thousands on AN over the next 5 years.
So I saw the value of their products decline precipitously during that time.
And the constant reformulations, etc.
The cartoons were the last straw for me.

I don't want to sell you guys anything. If I did, it would have to be so awesome and full of value that it sold itself, and stood up to rigorous inspection.
Like Capulator's bennies. That level of value.

BTW, I still am using my AN ph up and down.
Because they never diluted those.
But as far as everything else,

I want to find ways to move increasingly towards organics. Like True Grit has. He even gets better yields.
I think his inputs made his plants healthier, and healthier plants not only yield more, but usually are stonier too.
I have wanted to be a bigger hippie about my inputs for some time. I decided a while ago to focus on plant health, figuring the yield would come anyways.

That is one of the big reasons I advocate dtw coco mixes. High performance, and one can use organic stuff without fear, unlike recirculating nutrient delivery systems.
The organic inputs I provide do things to flavor that chems cannot.
Floralicious Plus was 1 ml/gal of 20% kelp.
So I bought 3 pounds of soluble kelp powder. They love it.
I want to play with guanos, in teas and top-dressed. I know there is way more flavor and dankness waiting for all of us this way.

Also, Advanced Nutrient's 100% guarantee is 100% bullshit. Only way to get your money back is if the store you bought it from is willing to take the loss. If you try working directly with AN, they will waste your time until you give up. I'm glad they fucked me though, my medicine has never been better since switching to 100% organic. Happy frog soil + plain water until week 2-3 flower then top dress with dry or water in liquid Age Old Organics bloom at half the recommended dose + budswel & molasses until chop. $120 in soil and less than $20 in nutrients = 4lb harvest. Suck it big Mike.

Tough part for me was getting appropriate uptake with the organics in pure coco. It def took a round or so of playing around with my stardawg to start finding appropriate levels, what i did/didn't need. Now that i've got the beds full organic and firing strong, its time to add Cap's bennies to the next round see how i need to re-adjust. Usually its a slow process for me, but step by step it gets there. And you're def right dankworth, the flavors/highs are worth it! Can't say its necessarily stronger than when i was nailing chems, but def way more complex in flavors/high.

Haven't played with as much teas as I should, but thats def to come. Goin to start some Bio bizz veg soon vs. AN Sensi grow but none of the organic veg nutes have quite matched chem veg up to date...fingers crossed.

Teas are messy and stink up the whole house. If DIY organics is your thing go for it but I would rather just buy a gallon of budswel super tea for $25 and be done with it. Super Plant Tonic on ebay is good stuff too.

And I almost see bio bizz as the advanced nutrients of organics. They sure have a lot of items in their line to buy. Seems to me a few of them have overlapping ingredients too but IDK for sure.

My medicine seems best when I keep it simple and don't throw in the kitchen sink come feeding time.

Yeah GreenThumb, I only use AN and bio bizz as base nutes. I don't really believe in additives from lines. I add my own and prob keep it simpler than most on here to be honest. Though I do like nirvana but there are plenty of equal alternatives to it.

Thanks dude. Dialing plants has certainly helped me to figure out how to (try to) optimize my recovery.
Fortunately, with a correct diet and ganja, Crohn's can be put into remission. So that's what I'll be doing.

The feeling of being so close to death, of having no immune system left, of having such intestinal pain, having shit leaked into my bloodstream, and then
(the feeling of fungus inside you, trying to kill you as fungus does,
extending fungal hyphae through corrupted tissue in your gi tract)
was fucking horrifying.

for sure organics are better, i just tested the hammerhead and overdrive AN together and i did get strong stuff n reasonable yields like 16.5 or 17 oz per 600w light but the affect and taste and smell was not quite the fantastic quality when i used to do fully organic with just bat guano mix soil, r/o water and pefect enviromental conditions so i think im guna look into another simple organic additive or nute i could use n stick to what i used to do, is there any all in 1 really good organic or veganic bottles that people could tell me about? veganics is the new road i wana go down next i think, thanks farmers

also i forgot to add, unless it was to much neem n plant vitality plus that i put in my soil for pest control this time, then i think that the AN's i used has given it a less healthy feelin when smoked, like heavy on my lungs instead of light n pleasent like with my usual organic approach, maybe i didnt flush thoroughly enough as its new to me were my normal organic approach dosnt need a flush usually as nothin to flush out, who knows...

there was a thread somewhere on the net where they gave exact link to this wholesale site and showed every device they "make" . In reality all they did wad add the label and fancy box with lies acting like a cheap HPS is some new innovation.

AN is a joke in all ways, they dominate the hydro market right now caude they are the master of fanciest box but also best snake oil salesmen I have ever encountered. Fuck AN cause I honestly think my meds taste and are so much better without that overpriced soy sauce infection in it.

I suffer from a similar disorder, which I HATE. I also hate Morrisey. Self loathing rock stars can eat a dick. Poor fucking baby has to be a millionaire, fuck women in every town, and live in mansion. Money certainly can't buy happiness, but get over your fucking self. HATE!

I know i was pullin 24 n 26 zips per plant with connie i know some of the additives are iffy but connie is sick i used botanicare , fox farms and a few other products. but an has sick bases and their compost tea bud candy liquid carbo load b52 or organic b and nirvana worked good there are alot of good Advanced products that produce results i know organic bud is beautiful but i wanna grow fat monster frosty buds and the An products that i use in my line up do that. honestly after seeing the price of aptus nutes i feel pretty good and if you buy advanced from the hydro store and not online you killing your self but i do agree organic bud kills i dnt think my buds would be near as dank if i didnt have the organic products i used in my like up.

Morrisey is queer as a three dollar bill so I doubt he's fucking women in every town. He grew up dirt poor and picked on because of his sexuality. His lyrics come from living a hard life. It hasn't always been limos and champagne. I dig listening to some Morrisey from time to time. Reminds me of college.
