Well done sir

Thank You!

I'll take it now, because I think the harvest of the other plant is really going to just plain SUCK 😝. With the uneven growing i was not able to LST so it's "Jack in the Beanstalk" time again for that one. We'll see what some TLC can do. Pics tomorrow after i finish the harvest of the small and tiny buds. 🍻🥂

UPDATE: Newbie status!

The two new kids on the block are doing well at the end of their first week in the big kids playground. Keeping the nutes at current level and will bring down the PH to 5.6-56 tomorrow and let it drift back up over the next week. Have not added anything but plain RO top-off. I don't plan on doing anything until after week 2 and then only 25%.

And now the "Don't Do This !!" part:

Don't shout too loudly when you finally see the "Don't do this photos". They are truly an eye-sore. You have been warned 😎

I think what i have left qualifies for the textbook example of Scrogged vs not! This shit is butt-ugly for sure. My hope is to clean up the dead ends, bend what i can, as far as I can to expose it to as much light as possible. I figure i am going to have to chop a lot just to get light in. I could also just chop the fucker and move on to the next grow.... decisions, decisions, decisions.... 🙁😝

UPDATE: The new kids!.. 18 Days from sprout ... 10 days since transplant.

I think i can see the beginning of color change on the extreme edges of the larger of the two plants. Since the Base that i used is 2-0-0 with 5% calcium, i figure i can afford to add about a 25% shot of Mag via Botanicare Sweet to put some Mag into the system. My usual starting CNS-17 is 2-2-3 so hopefully 25% won't over do it (week 3 since germ).

Whoa!!!

Oh sorry you said no shouting. ;-)

Whoa!!!

Oh sorry you said no shouting. ;-)

LOL totally out of control.... just cleaned up the left side so i can pull those tops over and trim the burnt tops (yes this time the IR's fried the shit out of the very tops...

My schedule says that i don't have to drop my next pair until June 15 and that means I won't need the cabinet before July 1st or so.

I am going to use magnets and string to pull them down and keep them there for a week or two and kick the nutes backup to around 800; and just see what happens. The main colas look like most of it can be salvaged; the rest appears headed for the Alcohol wash....

Just like this batch of trim & mini-buds that i don't feel like screwing with from the first plant. I dropped both into the deep freeze about an hour ago. Check out the other thread tomorrow - Source Turbo tinctures-oils & shatter to watch the processing.

See ya then 🍻 🥂 😎

UPDATE: Fried to a delicate CRUNCH! 😢

Man this shit is really, really toasted. I am going to guess that the repairs i had done to one of the lights between grows REALLY fixed the IR diodes. The very tops are friggin' toast. However, as you come down from the tip shit gets better, not great; just better. After trimming out the middle in the top 2/3 I was able to get most of the buds exposed to the light.

I next gave the entire plant a haircut; getting rid of all of the yellow in the upper portion i could find. Then I tied string to the tops and pulled them over towards the harvested plant. On the main cola that was also pulled and restrained; i had to use a "weight" to help hold it in place (secured it with a pipe cleaner).

In the last photo you can see where I still have the center to clear out. I am going to give the plant a couple of days to recover from the haircut, then gut/clear the center thus providing even more light to the buds that are there. BONSAI!!! 🍻😎

HARVEST UPDATE: Drying Complete. Snap.

Tested the buds harvested first (Large). SNAP is the word. At the bottom, the middle and top of the bud.

Largest Buds totaled 7.5 oz dried. Let the curing begin 🍻 😎🍻

Gz! That should keep you in smoke for a long time!

I hope so, but with me and Mrs AA going at it... We consider this our premo batch, the rest will be our daily consumable. The best part is that this is only one of two plants so there is more to come. As explained earlier, it won't be nearly as bountiful because i wasn't able to LST and give it the room i needed. The next two seem to be growing at about the same rate. One is a bit smaller than the other. We'll see what happens. If i had to guess i would think there is close to at least another half pound (dry) still hanging. I only emptied 3 of 7 shelves of the hanging dryer.

Waiting two weeks is going to be tough, especially popping the top every night for the first week. open, open, open. . . 🍻 🤡 Then I will pack a QP into a "cvault" to wait out the next year (I will be forced to check potency & taste at Christmas/New Years 😁).

If everything works out with regards to timing and production, we should have enough to last us until harvest of the two new kids in 10 weeks or so.

UPDATE: GROW-WEEK-1 - Germination is over and so is Grow-Week-1

During seedling (transplant +1 week) i added nothing to the rez except RO water to maintain the level.

During Grow-Week-1 I added nutes at 25% strength. The reason you see PlusLife at 50% is because i ran out during setup an had to reorder. Hydroguard and Aspirin are always at full strength.

I have decided that since my goal is to help educate others as i run head-long into the world of "Farming the green corn". I will be trying to make short daily entries so that someone who wants a step-by-step journal to someone who likes what they see and wants a guide.

Here, all in one post is the daily stats since last Mondays post #190 of this thread.

Onward & Upward 🍻😎
