A little tip, when you finally collect them, don't use a car, unless you are sure noone has seen anything. I know of 2 people who lost cars. Law in UK is a vehicle will be confiscated if carrying contraband. One of them was just for baccy brought back from Belgium.

That was exactly my thought process, they would have either chopped them or taken the pots although that would be a bit messy with the bottoms cut yes I will padlock I was just hesitant someone may notice and wonder what someones trying to protect. A padlock would definitely do it though. Currently it's just some metal wire that I'm using to intertwine the fence closed so it's quite penetrable. Do you have any trail cam recommendations?

Hi mate, thanks for the advice on discretion, the padlock is pretty small and hidden but it is new so I'll take some antiquing solution when I'm next there to age it.
I still haven't used a trail camera yet but I think I already have one somewhere.
In terms of law enforcement setting traps to catch me, you are right that they do this however they wouldn't bother for 9 autos. They cannot risk it getting into the wrong hands and so they are required to use covert surveillance 24/7. They use a 3 year rule in these cases to justify funding the operation and this wouldn't amount to a 3 year sentence.
I'm not sure how it works in the US.

Thanks for the tip, I'm pretty uncatchable on a push bike, there's also a lake near by so kayak could be my method of escape I'll have to check the route

When ever you are doing anything illegal, don’t act suspicious.act casual, like you are going for a walk. Act as natural as possible. People go for walks all the time. Cops catch people when they act suspicious. Carrying a gun, guys will check it constantly. Carry drugs, people check it constantly. Everything is subliminal, the littlest things give you away. Be cool , act natural. Sneaking around gets you caught.

Not uk but much closer than US ;) was in living in UK twenty years ago… Wasn’t aware of that but it makes sense thanks for the info! Did hear they where getting much laxer there recently, remember reading one force announced they wouldn’t be going after personal home growers but that was before Boris and Patel. Think the UK was the biggest producer of medical weed in the world at the time hypothetically.

9 plants in the UK is not for personal use, it's classed as business and it doesn't matter what strain or size. A custodial sentence is given. Not long but 6 months, inconvenient.

Is that actually applied though? Laws are strict where I am but even in cases where home growers have had a significant number of plants ( strain or size dosnt matter each plant has a set value according to law ) did not sell but did supply close friends for free and only got fines. They’d have to have significant evidence of trafficking or repeated supply offenses for a custodial.
Remember going to a festival in Cambridge where smoking was tolerated inside the event but cops were all around it handing out tickets to anyone smoking outside but again don’t think they led to anything.
Why would you take the risk though for nine plants? Feel like they’d be a lot harsher just because of the risk of kids finding it…

Don’t buy but have scales to measure dried weight and daily usage also cooking.
Surely they have to prove supply, I can understand scales plus baggies and cash but scales alone seems excessive.
Think he’s done his research says there have been no custodial sentences for small production of nine or fewer plants in the UK over the past year. I see though how they have a categorization system with set metrics rather than intent but it still seems to count when in comes to sentencing. The policy seems to be don’t jail personal growers no room.

Depends on your circumstances and the police involved. If you have a condition that you use cannabis for, like you're an alcoholic and use pot as a substitute for drink they can be understanding. But they assume every plant produces 2 oz. Not negotiable.

Just reading it now, it says 9 plants or 360g personal falls into category 4 (considered personal non commercial) and scales are only a factor if found along side other evidence of intent to supply such as baggies and/or substantial amounts of cash. Under category 4 a custodial sentence is not permissible without aggravating factors. Even if supply is proved a custodial sentence depends on having a significant leading role or bypassing the mains.
Says here an outdoor grow of same scale reduces the risk of a custodial as well (no equipment, safety issues or bypassing electrics).
What it really looks like is policy and sentencing guidelines don’t match up with the antiquated laws.

Things have got more liberal, great stuff. I stick to 3 plants in my grow room. It's tiny and that's about it's limit.

I’d say that’ll probably be closer to any decriminalizing if it happens and easier to get away with. I try to stick with four at a time and then stop for a few months in winter with cost of electrics.

I always try to put out extra plants in case some don't make it some did some might get found and some just don't produce like you want.

Outdoors is a gamble, this is my first year to get nothing. Total blow out. Will be better prepared next year. Indoor growing is controlled by us, a different story.
