It's just shitty weed in general. It competes on a quantity level not a quality level. Folks will get sick of premature harvesting, huffing PM, mold, and listening to ol' snap crackle and pop from a no flush when they fire the shit up. It's dealers who tell their clientel that every batch they get is the best one yet. What got me into the scene? an inconsistent supply of dank and a constant supply of beaster. It's always been around. I had a guy tell me he could get a bag cheaper from some other dude, and I told him to go do it if he thought I was ripping him off. He bought my shit because he new it was better. People want the best and they want it for free. Don't bring your prices down, just do all you can to improve your quality so much that the beaster stuff flooding the market isn't even close to the dank that you have. Tell people to fuck off if they don't want to buy it. Their friend will buy some dank, they'll go have a smoke out and the dude that bought the crap will embarrass himself. If you're at a party, the ladies go for the dank and you'll meet better quality folks with some dank vs some beaster. Anytime someone would come over to grab a bag, I load them a bowl out of my own stash so they know what dank is and is not. I had to get beaster when I went dry, but I warned folks about it and I sold it for $40 instead of $50. Some folks were just happy to see anything when it gets really dry around august, september, and early october. Alot of folks stop their grows in the summer due to the heat and there is a dry spell.
The beaster has it's place and time, but don't compromise your price for a surplus of an inferior product. It's bad for the market.
