Nice ! Whats ur strain and app rate?...
cw...
If you mean the humbolt secret i only use end of flower at 5ml for 2 gal and then rotate with different organics and synthetic nutes different menu everyday

Look it up on the California department of aguculture website it list what it is.
Then look up age old organics it's the old name for nectar. You tell me its different but guess what it is the same.
I tried looking it up, neither product had much of any information available; am I looking in the wrong place? apps1.cdfa.ca. gov/fertilizerproducts/

They say that this replaces all additives. Just use your base nute with it. Anyone tried it??? I'm copying and pasting some literature I found online about it.

Here’s a list of products you can simply replace by using Golden Tree with Advanced Nutrients Connoisseur A&B, or any (complete N-P-K) base nutrient you may prefer. Just be sure to bump up the PPM's to between 800-1100 (adjust accordingly).

General Hydroponics: BioRoot, Biobud, Biomarine, Bioweed, Diamond Black, Ancient Forest, Floraclicious Plus, Diamond Nectar, Subculture, Armor Si, Florablend, Rapidstart

Rock Nutrients: Rock Supercharge, Rock Absorbalight, Rock Resinator

Botanicare: Pure blend Tea, Sweet Berry, Sweet Citrus, Liquid Karma, Vitamino, Hydroplex, Sweet Grape, Sweet Raw, Silica Blast, Fulvex, Seaplex, Zho Root inoculant, Aquashield

Advanced Nutrients: B-52 Vitamin, Bud Factor X, Bud Ignitor, Jungle Juice, Big Bud Bloom Booster, Bud Blood Bloom Stimulator, Bud Candy, Carboload, Final Phase, Hammerhead, Kushie Kush, Overdrive, Revive Crop, Protection, Sensizym, Voodoo Juice Root Booster, Ancient Earth, Grandma Engyys F-1, Grandma Engyys H-2, Iguana Juice, Mother Earth Super Tea, Nirvana, Organic B1 Vitamin, Wet Betty

Bio Bizz: Fish Mix, Top Max, Alg-A-Mic, Root Juice, Bio-Heaven

Canna: Cannazym, Rhizotonic, CannaBoost

House and Garden: Algen Extract, Amino Treatment, Bud-XL, Magic Green, Multi Zen, Roots Excelurator

X-Nutrients: Amino Blast, Bloom FX

Other: Seacrop, Hygrozyme

BUT with an npk of 0-0-2.25 how is this gonna replace a bloom booster like big bud, kool bloom, moab, etc... don't think so.
I Tried It and when I put it to flower it seems like it needed more of the b but idk all the info I could find was to play with the a and b in flowering anyway I went back the gh

If your hydro store bottle doesn't tell you what's in it, it's probably SNAKE OIL!

Looking at the CDFA website, it just lists the NPK and micros. It has potassium and a few micros. It is molst likely kelp, maybe molasses. The K could be hydroxide extracted humic, but humic is incompatible with chitosan. It smells like fish, so my best guess is kelp, molasses and crab/shrip extract in Golden Tree.

Hey Bill. What's the deal with humic and chitosan? Was thinking about adding in some chitosan, but glad I saw this first!

Humic/fulvic, chitosan and silica are incompatible because of their ionic charges and can create inactive precipitates. Sometimes, you can get away with mixing them to final concentration and using right away, but still may precipitate if left to sit.

Thanks so much for the info! Have a great weekend.

So I've read and read and read on this stuff. Can't figure it out myself. @oscar169 has some knowledge on most nutes bro. I believe he mentioned this a while back. But there is just no way that it's gonna do all it says it does. I'd keep ur nutrient regiment the same as u always have and add some. Or just give it a shot. I'd sure like to hear more about it. Usually when something has such crazy claims it falls short. That's not to say it isn't a good product just no way it live up to its claims. In saying that I could be wrong. Use it and let us all know bro. Good luck.
IDK what went wrong but I purchased the starter kit XL and used it as directed in my hydro grow. Killed 3 of my plants. The roots were black and tar like and small. I contacted them to return under their 6 mo money back policy and they said to return for full refund but, It would cost $120 to ship and they only have a PO box in San Diego to return to so you have to use USPS and can't get a signature. Looks like I wasted $400. Back to GH which I have used for years with no issues.

That's crazy!! I purchased this product in replacing the flora-trio line up so far its done great. I vegged for 6 weeks and just flipped to flower yesterday. About the only thing I noticed quality wise with the start up kit is this- If you are doing hydroponics its important to use less than the recommended dosage of the Golden Tree (as this is what causes the black goo on the roots and if this builds up it can and will lead to root rot and even suffocate you plant) I got threw my whole vegetative cycle with starting at 5ML for a ten gallon recycling hydro set up and moving up slowly every other week.
The other thing I have noticed is that the Cal/Mag that is provided in the starter kit seems to be a little weaker than most other brands of cal/mag as I'm having to use a lot more of it compared to other brands. Im currently growing white truffle x JR-14 i cant say for sure if the cal/mag is weaker or not due to this being my first time growing this strain
All in all In my opinion the secret select is a viable option. so far its defiantly a lot better than the flora-trio line up i noticed fast/strong growth all around, a plant less susceptible to stress, and for once my plants actually matured following a steady time line my plants are around 2-3 ft tall, and with flora-trio i would have been struck with the grace of god to reach that height.
I also think its important to note i have only ever tried flora-trio and Humboldt's secret select. iv successfully completed 4 grows for a beginner grower who doesn't know jack squat about nutrient additives to make you plant better Humboldt's provided me with an all inclusive package that, at this point has produced the best plants i have ever seen am my grow room.
i do find it kinda worrie-some that the reviews for this product are so scattered with people like me saying it great and other saying it sucks.
