So I also got another , well something I just don’t understand, thought may be you could answer ? I used rainwater 20ppm Aprox 7.3 ish most times , I would add 2 ml of calmag and 6 ml of pure blend pro grow it would bring my ppm up around 800 ppm - now fast forward to me using tap water ( not sure of the make up yet ) it runs 300-400 ppm so no calmag but I have to add almost 12 ml of the pbpg to hit my 800 range ? It just seems backwards to me and I get the water make up thing but how can the nutrient bleep bd the same when I physically add more? Is it a reaction to something in the water ? I’m not to worried about it as I’m switching to mega crop this next run. I just really would like to understand

This makes no sense. A mistake is being made somewhere. Meter, water, grower?

And i have only seen precipitate once in an over year old gallon of pure blend pro grow. Never saw it before in at least 20 gallons used.

Could well be... still best to eliminate it as a possible issue.

@Moshmen how new are the batteries in the ppm meter?

Did you very the results a few times?

7.3 is abnormally high ph for rainwater. That cant be right...
I'd be verifying that those meters are reading correctly.

I’m going to grab some water tomorrow and calibrate everything and we will get to the bottom of things. Precipitate I guess I’m gonna have to look up the definition as I thought this was the settlement that falls to the bottom after every use ? If ya leave the cap off it will evap and crystallize.

What should it be ? It’s always been around 6.7 and up I just figured the variation was from sitting or shit from the roof.

I never left the cap off. Its natural ingredients. Need to be kept cool and sealed.

Not saying it is just looking to eliminate that as a possible cause.

Any rainwater Ive ever used has been acidic, but also because of the low ppm it doesnt have a whole lot of ions in there to test and can give false readings. It also has no alkalinity and needs some form of carbonate really, I use calcium carbonate when I use it.

Snagged a lower bud off the BFT to fast dry in the oven. Not as colorful as the top buds but not to shabby. Not going to report smoke on it since its fast dried but looks and smells good so I couldn't resist.

May as well post a pic if the drying buds. 1 more BFT still not done and in the room so I'm forced to hang the plants in the room we use for storage. Its most my daughter from when she moved back home so dont mind the mess. Poor girls stuff ia going to reek like weed for life.

The darker plants on the left are the HBCM according to the meter sitting at avoit 20-22% been hanging for about 6 days and probably aboit a week to go. The BFT are the green ones cut today after 48 hrs of darkness.

So 3 HBCM on the left and 2 BFT on the right with 1 more BFT to go.

Thank you so much

Apera is junk imo, got a couple of them in my dead meter drawer right now; recommend drops for accuracy, hope this helps!

Nice pics. I like seeing the amount of white pistils left on your buds compared to the reds. Gives me a refresher on what things look like at harvest. I still have a few weeks to go. I was thinking about this Purpl meter. Its not like I really need it and its damn expensive, but knowing the real numbers on THC and CBD would be a nice benchmark.
