I'm tarrping it then Best do something. thanks. got to go do that nowI would tarp and get the heat up to about 10 to 15 degrees below daytime high in the greenhouse. Greenhouses with light dep can make some straight up great smoke!!!! Good Luck, I remember the challenges with a green house. I use to burn candles in the winter, make a big cone of aluminum foil to keep the light away from the plants.
So I also got another , well something I just don’t understand, thought may be you could answer ? I used rainwater 20ppm Aprox 7.3 ish most times , I would add 2 ml of calmag and 6 ml of pure blend pro grow it would bring my ppm up around 800 ppm - now fast forward to me using tap water ( not sure of the make up yet ) it runs 300-400 ppm so no calmag but I have to add almost 12 ml of the pbpg to hit my 800 range ? It just seems backwards to me and I get the water make up thing but how can the nutrient bleep bd the same when I physically add more? Is it a reaction to something in the water ? I’m not to worried about it as I’m switching to mega crop this next run. I just really would like to understand
Could well be... still best to eliminate it as a possible issue. This makes no sense. A mistake is being made somewhere. Meter, water, grower?
And i have only seen precipitate once in an over year old gallon of pure blend pro grow. Never saw it before in at least 20 gallons used.
I’m going to grab some water tomorrow and calibrate everything and we will get to the bottom of things. Precipitate I guess I’m gonna have to look up the definition as I thought this was the settlement that falls to the bottom after every use ? If ya leave the cap off it will evap and crystallize. This makes no sense. A mistake is being made somewhere. Meter, water, grower?

Yes and idk prolly six months will get new and film tomorrow hopefully this is grower error! LolCould well be... still best to eliminate it as a possible issue.
@Moshmen how new are the batteries in the ppm meter?
Did you very the results a few times?
What should it be ? It’s always been around 6.7 and up I just figured the variation was from sitting or shit from the roof.7.3 is abnormally high ph for rainwater. That cant be right...
I'd be verifying that those meters are reading correctly.
I usually ck them once a week -I just got my ass up and cked them stock the ph meter in 7 solution bam right on cked fresh rain water 7.2, ok I’m gonna take a pic , but then decided I’m gonna calibrate and ck again - and low an behold meter reads 5.4 in the 4 solution ? Wtf put it back In 7 and bam perfect I cali rate it and same shit. What the fuck it reads 7 perfect it’s an apera by the way7.3 is abnormally high ph for rainwater. That cant be right...

Any rainwater Ive ever used has been acidic, but also because of the low ppm it doesnt have a whole lot of ions in there to test and can give false readings. It also has no alkalinity and needs some form of carbonate really, I use calcium carbonate when I use it.What should it be ? Thank you and I couldn't agree more this community is one of a kind and very helpful.Loving this thread , Ive taken so much info away. Ive only been on the farm for a couple of months or so now and ive tried a couple of others, But NOTHING has given me as much community spirit, help and good solid information as the farm has.
Thank you so much

Apera is junk imo, got a couple of them in my dead meter drawer right now; recommend drops for accuracy, hope this helps!I usually ck them once a week -I just got my ass up and cked them stock the ph meter in 7 solution bam right on cked fresh rain water 7.2, ok I’m gonna take a pic , but then decided I’m gonna calibrate and ck again - and low an behold meter reads 5.4 in the 4 solution ?
