Ya, even after all these years I still suffer from letting plants get to big...to hard to manage. It's a good problem to have I guess.....but a problem none the less.

And a decent Indica strain will grow fan leaves bigger than your damn head!! LMAO!

One day I will learn to SOG.....I currently kinda suck at it....lol!

Your off to a great and organized start!

So plants got transplanted this week and topped yesterday. No signs of stress. Pulled 4 plants, just to sensitive to light so not something I wanna keep as a mom. Lighting up to 25k lux humidity at 72% till tomorrow.
Off to a superb start Aqua. Looking uniform. Well done.

Ok here we are 3 weeks from sprout. Down to 16/20 looking for strong mothers not kids we have to babysit.

Temps 83f
Humidity back to 65%
Leaf temps 78-79f
Soil temps 78-79f
CO2 1200ppm.

This week they were transplanted into 1gal buckets and already roots at the bottom. They received Raw microbes last water (tap and microbes only).

Looking ok but lacking the growth im used to seeing in hydro. Maybe they are behind for soil? But seems slow to me although I can see some daily.
Had to spread them out a bit more and my drip tray still isn't in. Looks like watering will be every 2 days to keep em happy, right about what I was shooting for. Seeing some signs of maturity in the tiny new growth but not in all plants. Will do clones one I have a few nodes to work with and out them straight into flower to sex.

Here they are as of today.

Looks so nice! After transplant they will seem to stall while filling pots with new roots then the leaves will go much faster. I guess in pure hydro rooting goes faster.

They look perfect bro!

It will take a couple weeks longer to get where you are used to I think. After stretch it all evens out it seems.
Good to hear. I'm looking forward to it. I was thinking of another dirt run so I can have 4 moms. Just seems easier to do in dirt. I have to say I like the fact I just water every 2ish days and that's it. It's definitely less work then all the tinkering with hydro to try to keep up with growth rates and everything changing so fast.

With the flourescents in veg i water about once a week with seedlings and young plants. When they get down to 3-4 days i transplant up. This ends up giving me an average of 3 days to next water/feed in peak flower.

The bale of promix i have seems on the lighter side of perlite. They claim 25-35% included with hp. I have been about 2-3 says longer than average lately so I added perlite to try to remedy it.

The largest plants i have posted were mostly fed every 2 days.

Behind in soil? Nope, that's just soil. Looks awesome btw! I got a few in soil but they're growing like they're in soil😜

Hmm I may be transplanting again soon. 2 days and they need a water in these. 3 they would be bone dry.

Heya plumber 👍 good to see you bro. Thanks for the compliment. Yeah they seem slow to me but as long as they are on track in good with that. Soil seems pretty relaxed so I like that part of it.

Thats with flourescents and then only 600’s. I would want a bit less perlite if i ran your lamp. But i keep it that way so i dont have to mix 12 different nute mixtures or water only for the staggared different stage plants every time. Spreads my work out.

Yeah the sunshine 4 has 25-35% perlite in it... but i did add the 30% vermiculite which doesn't seem to be an issue so far but I need to water pretty often

I read once that greenhouses change the amount of perlite depending on season to keep drying times similar.

I used the info to meter my own dry cycle. And experimented til it was what i said above.
