Aquaman gets dirty

Very nice setup man I’m jealous. Thanks appreciate it. Finally got out of my 4x4. Loved that box but man trying to trim and inspect plants was torcher.

No. But it is cured right on the beach of third world countries. They wash it off with the ocean tide.

And for legitimacy of the breeders starement ( im sure he compared hundreds of plants though) Pro mix hp CC (coco coir) has no more than 30% coco added.

And no pure coco product even wirh the demand today.
Well I'm gonna find out. Been an experience type of year this year. Will be all over the place. The added space is letting me explore and I like it. 👍 Hell honestly I think this year will be dedicated to trying new things. Long as I get enough product for me. I would like to try several strains and grow styles. Also different methods.

One thing is for sure. Coco next go and I will be following @Dirtbag kinda schedule and practices as best I can to see if I can replicate something close to it.

Yeah cant argue with his results this round even without final numbers and report. It looks about perfect @Dirtbag

I can say I smoke a lot of pot grown many different ways from promix to organic, hydroponic and coco. My friend that grows in coco consistently produces pot that is more flavorful, aromatic and potent than almost anyone else. Not to mention yields are outstanding. Gotta try it yourself and see dude lol. I know mine freakin stink if that's any indication.

I think alot has to do with nutrients, light spectrum (believe it or not), microbiology of the media and stresses. Hahaha I guess almost everything grow related but it's the key factors that cross over and work kinda symbioticly that I'm talking about. This crop steering thing has me absolutely sold. I may not master it for a few rounds to a few decades but I'm absolutely convinced it is legitimate.

So many tips and tricks that makes absolute sense once you are given the big picture. I'm sure there are many many more that master growers have tucked into thier tool kit and they are not as simple as most think... Atleast that's my opinion

Well plants are rootbound but not moving them until I can sex. No point up potting males.

Took clones 2 days ago and they are doing well so far. Once I can sex I will up pot the females.

Took some time to defoliate a bit today. Removed all fans from the main stock and from the lowest node on each branch. Shit was getting pretty crowded. Also removed all suckers except those to small to pull and the growing tips.

They are a little pissed off at me right now.

Have to water them daily at this point.

Pics.

I haven't read much of the thread but I'll will asap.
My thought by judging the last pics, you need higher pressure feeds directly on the stalk and bigger pots. Try 2-4gal... Bet there are dry spots under there preventing uptake.

Yeah they are rootbound. I have pushed to hard and I'm backing off them. Definately can't push them like I did in hydro. Not on my first soil grow. It's frustrating and I'm going to take my own advice and keep it simple. I lowered the light intensity and made some adjustments to environment. Everytime I bring the intensity up to what I should be pushing in my hydro system they shit on me so going back to basics.

I will up pot once I determine sex until then they stay rootbound

They are not rootbound. you can go bigger easy. I think you are watering too often a bit. Looks like water stress to me.

You cant push in dirt. Only give what they need. Veg goes slower than you are used to by a couple weeks man. No way those plants need to drink every day.

They have been almost bone dry almost evey time. Drooping was mostly because I just finished pruning and watering.

I lowered the airflow and light intensity. They are starting to perk back up.

But yeah I'm done trying to push what I did in hydro. It just doesn't work.

I know it sounds odd @MIMedGrower but they really do need water daily. If I wait 2 days the soil is dust. Even at the drain holes. I think maybe it's the temps and I had pretty strong airflow. I lowered the lighting a bit and airflow to lower the forced evaporation from the plants. Maybe that will lower the water usage some.

When I pick the pots up after 2 days it's like they are full of styrofoam not soil

Ive tried coco & soil bud and soil wins hands down I’d say ur buddy that’s doing coco is just letting his get extra ripe compared to ur other friends.

+1

@MIMedGrower is it possible because I have over 50% combination of vermiculite and perlite that the volume left after drainage is lower than if I just had the 25-30% perlite?
