Aquaman gets dirty

I'm going to put this to the test on my next flower run. Too hot now but in Sept I think I'll stick them on 12/12 for 3-4 days then turn back to 18 -24 ( like I'd did in the past) for 2 weeks then back to 12/12. lol if I can remember this conversation...

thats kind of what I do in part of stress testing mothers for seed production, if they have any hermy traits you should find out

I was going to ask if that might make them hermie. 👍 As a beginner here I come across so many ideas and things to try. I think now I have 10 yrs of strains on my list to try HA!

yup, just because one has a female plant doesn't mean its 100% female, it maybe carrying some male genetics, and before making any seed feminized or not the mothers should be stress tested, and any that shows any unwanted signs should be cut and thrown out. one of the most important parts to breeding to bad some of the newer breeders are in a rush to get stuff out and forget this.

This has been an extremely useful thread. I had thought of sealing a similar sized area (6x9) but I didn't realize it was possible to not worry about exhaust. I sort of wussed out and decided to just do a tent for now. I used that spray foam insulation to seal my soffits and thats how I was thinking of really getting it air tight.

Say, is two 20 amp 120v dedicated circuits enough? Your setup is similar to what I am thinking minus the ozone. I was thinking UV. 2 800w LEDs for now but a third later. Controller, etc.

Absolutely I use 2-15amp circuits. With 2 lights it's would but with 3 you may need more

That room looks sealed like it was ready for dooms day! I like it! 👍

Just home from the lake. Had no reliable internet (maybe 2 min here and there) lights just turned on after being off from Friday at midnight. Some yellowing in new growth but that's just from no photosynthesis. They are now on a 12/12 schedule.

Wiped so will post pics tomorrow.

Ok updated pic. They were quite yellow in new growth but are almost all greened back up after 1 day with the lights.

They look perfect bro!

I cant wait till you can compare this to your coco grow. And i mean flavor and quality not grow speed and frequency of watering.
Yeah that's going to be I think a big thing for me. I will get to make those comparisons first hand of the different media.

I think coco is going to be pretty similar it's actually a better media for microbes when used as organic type grows but then you treat it different and don't water to as much runoff.

I think coco is the most versatile and can be grown as a faster organic with full on microbes or partial like I'm doing first with synthetic and minimal organics and microbes.

I may even try an organic grow in coco after to see if there is any difference. I know there is none interns of nutrients but there are other compounds that bacteria enzymes and fungi produce that may alter flavor and Terps.

He ain't lying...that canopy is on point my friend!! Looks picture perfect!

Those babies are gonna take off like a 🚀!

I noticed a difference in taste from my gophers grown in soil and coco. The chem taste wasn't as strong in the coco grown plants but they were flowered in winter with 9-10 hrs light outside. Assumed it was the winter grow conditions and mentioned it in my smoke review.

I've got a nice large female in coco about 5-6 weeks from chop so we'll see if there's a difference in taste and trichrom development.

My GDP has the most wonderful berry smell and taste which has been getting stronger with cure time. While growing there's also a grape smell but it's been replaced by berries.

I've purchased weed like this in the past but none had this strong of flavor. Next year I may try a few in soil. Maybe!
