SpaceX will launch one of its rockets for a record 10th time Sunday (May 9), with a very sooty Falcon 9 rocket lofting a new fleet of Starlink satellites into space before dawn, and you can watch it live online.

The Hawthorne, California-based company will launch 60 Starlink satellites on one of its fleet leaders, a flight-proven Falcon 9 rocket dubbed B1051. The frequent flier will blast off from Space Launch Complex 40 at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station here in Florida at 2:42 a.m. EDT (0642 GMT).

when we went outside and saw the 100’s of lights flying across the sky we did not know they were starlink satellites. And we were very stoned. And it is very dark out here in the woods at night. We did not know what to think.

It does look like the old 50’s cigar shaped UFO sightings.

Haha I can imagine that would be trippy... it took me a few seconds to realize it.

It does look like the old 50’s cigar shaped UFO sightings.

Yeah just bad camera. Naked eye looks like a string of LED plus it wasn't all that close so you get the blurring like headlights.

Watching the launches is incredible, albeit not worth the ride from Canada, I just watch from my front yard.
