Day 50. Bicentannual!

I made an observation. I didn't like how long it took for the first go of water to soak into the top. It's always been slow since I top dressed it weeks back. So I poked a bunch of holes in the top layer of soil. About an inch deep. Just a slit made with the name tag signs we have for them..

The water soaked in much quicker. Success I say. But I've been getting just less than a quart of run off for the gallon I gave each of them. When I poked the holes, no run off. I use Poland Springs water. I didn't have anymore so I left it alone for that time.

Today, I poked the same holes and gave them almost 1.75 gallons. A quart came out. So now they take 1.5 gallons.

Have I been under watering them? They don't seem upset.
Has my "run off" actually just been side seep and nothing has been getting to the center?
Whats that do to a root system?

I ph'd last feed to 6.5 for the first time ever too. No run off so I couldn't check it. I ph'd this time too to 5.9 (I did it with out constant checking. Squirt some and check it once) runoff was within 6 to 6.3 for all of them.

Here's the ladies.

Northern Sunset
LSD

Blue Widow

Whats that? In the last pic.

So, she looked up this leafs problem

Came up with phosphorus deficiency.
Two days ago, tried to treat it with bone meal and castings. Watered it in with the feeding.

Now, there's this...

It looks like the fuzzy stuff my living soil is growing. And my other soil mix.

This mix has never done it until the bone meal and castings top dress

Whats it look like to you?

I'm giving a gallon each on Tuesday to be followed by a 10 days of drought.

48 hours of dark after that will lead to harvest on May 7th. I hope it all fits in my 2x2 x 30" grow tent.

I've been using it for propagation and seedlings. Mostly vegetables. I'll hang them all in there and return the big tent to veg state.

I removed the net so I could rotate the plants.

Here's some LSD

This one looks like a scarecrow

Everyone got a gallon of just water. We are going into that 10 day drought leading up to a final flush and 48 hour dark period.

Then the harvest

Harvested.

Roughly 7 hours with a done break in the middle. All the plants done.

First I laid my smaller tent on its side and mead a string net across the top.

Then I disassembled the growing tent.

Here's the ladies...

Northern Sunset went first.

LSD was next.

Blue Widow was the final.

This is for tomorrow.
