Evening all

I’ve had a few problems since sprouting these but this is them today , 6 weeks old . They seem to have improved over the last week . I have had a lot of help from @Aqua Man , @mysticepipedon , @Madmax , @Moe.Red and a few others and I thank you all very much
, sorry if I forgot anyone .

I have pruned the bottoms and removed the leaves that I had issues with .

Some are only 13 inches tall , others are 16 inches . Grown in coco . 5 gallon fabric pots .
LSD is the strain .
The 2 tables are 8x4 foot and I have a mars hydro fce-4800 for each 4x4 . I have 21 plants , I will probably do 5 under each light ( struggling with how to space them out too )

It’s my first grow in many years and I don’t really know how big these might get . Any thoughts are greatly appreciated.
Thanks

I would flip, as those plants will make three to four feet in height and two feet or more wide, so your tray will be filled to max.

Wow, beautiful plants bro. I flipped a strawberry cough at 14 inches, she stretched out to 44 inches tall. I had to ziptie my light to my tent ceiling and it was still to close lol. If they were mike id be setting the lights to flip tomorrow.

hopefully you won't be posting any pictures to prove that @Madmax

they only went into the 5 gallons 7 days ago . so i watered them when they first went in , then 2-3 days after , and then today , so about every 2-3 days . the roots have sprouted through the fabric in a nice way in the last 36 hours .

many thanks for the compliment , but it's mainly from the help i get from you guys though and a bit of luck

i have had a few issues along the way which 90% was self inflicted

thank you mate . i have been trying my best .

i will have to measure how much headspace i have left , at a guess it must be about 3-4 foot @Goodshit97 .

seems like the popular vote is to flip so i will put them into flowertomorrow and let you guys know how it goes in the coming days/weeks .

thanks very much for all the replies

I was just thinking sometimes when you are feeding a little high in coco in veg it can lead to complications such as salt buildup ,nute burn once you get into flower.specially if your not fertigating daily ...it sort of catches up with you.id just check your runoff every now and then to see if you ph and ppm isnt going over too much what your imput is.

Thanks mate . I will keep an eye on it . I actually had to do a big flush as when buffering the coco I rinsed it with non ph’d water , and 1 brick I forgot to rinse the cal mag out .

So now EC in is 1.6 and out is 1.1
Ph in 5.9 - 6 out is 6.4

Previous to the flush EC in and out was about the same

Do you think 1.6 is a bit high ?

What happened to me was for the first few weeks I under fed them and they were a light green , so I upped the food gradually to 1.6 , and I may have done some damage with the flush but I didn’t know what else to do in that situation.

I’ll try and keep it around 1.5/1.6 and see how it goes

On the Photone app they are about 500 , is that ok for now ?

No not really.its just the fertigation tht worries me a little as the ec should start rising once you flip..hell i was fertigating daily in 5 gals at 1.2 when first started .then about a week after i flipped its spiked and was flushing near once a week..ph was at 4.7 lol. had nute buildup .i reduced the pot size to 4 and added extra perlite and havnt had a problem since..not saying it will happen but just keep an eye on it.

Thanks @Madmax that’s great advice . I wasn’t sure what pot size to go with . Maybe I’ll change pot size in the future . I have mixed some perlite into the mix but not as much as I should have . I need to sort out a dripper system too .

I was same..thinking bigger pot ,bigger root system = bigger plant but only have to look at aquas 1 gal monsters with high fertigation put that to bed..the reason i added more perlite was just so the nutes run through more easily.i fertigate low so i have less chance of it happening again.only feeding daily to and went from 5 litres to 3 litres 4 max on some plants..saved on nutes too..the bigger the pot the more you have to run through if you do get a buildup..i like your plants.they have a nice structure..cant wait to see them in flower..

When I use to do a few grows in the uk , I couldn’t remember what pot sizes I used . So I kind of measured a 3 gallon and it looked tiny , that’s why I went with the 5 gallon . I’ve not done a grow in over 10 years .

Thank you @Madmax .

Plants look great… as long as your getting good run off and feeding often enough you should be good.

im with all those who say flip because its already going to get crowded in there. Great work man

The Farm at it's best, tutoring a grower back into growing after ten years is a challenge, sometimes not so much if the grower knows a little about cultivation. Nice job in veg, now to 12/12 light cycle and bloom nutrients. I am following this grow as it reminds me of myself last year when I came to the Farm for advise. Cheers SS
