so if you have been feeding
I suggest you flush your pot with clean water flush real good and allow to dry down

pull all the bad leaves
once you medium is flushed well and has dried to about 25% moisture left
feed again @5.8 ph 1tsp maxibloom

I immediately followed this advice Then had to leave immediately for a 1 hour drive to a 24 hour pharmacy to pick up meds for my mother. Hospice had to come in and had just ordered the meds and she needed them right away. So I did not see your next 2 post until now.

are you checking the ph of your feed or are you feeding

your tea should actually be sitting in the 4's
8 is crazy high

what is your tea recipe

Yes I have followed your schedule or feed 5.8 ph,feed 5.8 ph, tea. The tea bucket has never had anything in it but tapwater of 6.8ph worm castings or foxFarms big bloom which we decided was just ewc tea and was told by you I think I could use it because I already had it and molasses. This is to my knowledge as with everything going on with mom and a road trip of 20hrs I could have grabbed something besides the Big Bloom by mistake.

Not sure that it matters but unless I used all the tea in the 5 gallon bucket I just topped it back off with the ff(EWC) and tap water No chlorine or additive. Basically never emptying the bucket.
Things are all running together in my head.

So to correct what I had originally said It had been 24hrs since I had given them the tea.
I just took 2 ph pens and calibrated them and checked Tea it is at 8.2ph I checked the nutes I have mixed up and it is now reading 6.3ph wen I swear it read 5.8the day I mixed it ? The run off from that plant read 6.7ph after running 4 gallons of straight tap water thru it. The only thing I have not checked tonight is the tap water.

Will do. This is the plant that almost died at 3 weeks. Everytime I removed any leaves it seemed to make other leaves start to spot as if it was a calma problem. I also have a girl scout cookie whos leaves all got spots and turned yellow even some sugar leaves. So I tried to avoid the need for you to hold my hand as you called it. But I guess it was premature on my part.

So should I remove all leaves losing color and drying up or just the ones drying up? Thank you

@Wisher619 Once I switch to straight water should I ph the water? Current Ph out of the tap is 7.25. I'm sorry if I ask this before.

yes ph the water

I am thinking the tap water is the actual problem

what ever is in it is causing ph swings and probably lockout within the media itself
that is what it looks like to me

also remember
when you water
whether it be with nutrients or tea or just plain water
water until atleast 10-15% drains from the bottom and then get rid of that water
do not let the plants sit in it

if you are not feeding to drain *feed to waste*
you are building up salt and burning the hell out of the roots
which is what it looks like to me

so when you flush. flush with ph 5.8
and flush until your ppm/ec level is down to say 500-600 or 1.0ec
then let it dry

again do NOT allow it to sit in the runoff

as for the Tea

there is absolutely no way it should sit that high in ph

it should be very low like around 4.0
everything in there is acidic so it should be real low
if not there is something very wrong

I have had 2 other people come to me with very similar problems

I believe it is watering practices
this is just my belief

if there are Ca issues I believe it is being caused by ph issues and a lockout is occuring

need to really reset the plants roots and start fresh

I would start by raising the clip fans up to about 12"-18" above the canopy and pointing them slightly upwards

then what are you using for media and feed if any

again

Watering practices and ph are the top 2 reasons for plants problems by far

IMHO

moved the fans.

im using sunshine soil.
maxsea, biocozy, floric acid i think or something acid cant remember, aspirin, insect frass.
and now cal-mag hah.

i guess i should of been using it in flower. i got shy of using it. once i almost killed my male. he came back to life healthy and almost ready for a hair cut.

i need to give him some new flip flops soon. im surprised he made it after how sick he was almost lost him i thought.

ph is alll weird here.. pretty sure that is my main problem.
it was stable but not now. well stable as it can be i guess as long as it did not run out of salt.
ill have to check maybe its out. because it was close before but now its in the 8.

@Wisher619 that PH pen you recommend came ina while ago. iv not try to use it yet.

you mention it has to stay in a glass once you open it?

iv not tried to read the instructions. hopefully the print is not to small.
these reading glasses are good for certain size font but once it hits real small.. i cant read it with them.

yeah I dont really pay attention to brix
if you want to know how high the brix are
pull a leaf and eat it
how sweet is the leaf
how much flavor does it have

@Wisher619 so, im pretty sure how i maybe did my mutant male in was with high ph tea.

so, its not getting any better since then. so im thinking maybe a flush with just PH strait water?

then let it do its thing until it maybe comes back. its looking pretty sad with the leafs drying up etc. eclipse is almost 100%. stressed test for sure. low light, dry feet, etc.

i think broken maybe had the same problem but im not sure. i did get a pollen chuck with him, so maybe he will pass on his mutant leafs.

I dont understand high ph tea
all teas I have ever made are extremely acidic with a starting water ph of 7 it usually ends up around 3.5-4.5 ph

well i tried to bubble some tea, i did not check the PH and its high. so was just guessing that is what happen since he got sick right after words.

im soaking the PH pen now.. instructions say for a few hours. i will flush him out soon.,

and see what happens.

thank you for recommending the pen.. much easier than using the chemicals and probably more accurate. i can still use PH up, and down tho.

I have no doubt it was the tea. How or why it went high I have no idea. But all was dumped and have not even had time to make any up since then. Spending time at mom and dads helping out with things that need done has trumped the plants at the moment.

@Wisher619 So if I add nothing but ewc and molasses to tapwater it should drop ph?

I think I know why my tapwater ph changed. We have had a ton of rain and I bet the beavers have damned the pond here which causes the pond to back up and cover the box our spring feeds into. Tomorrow I will have to go dig out the drain.
