Recently Been making some awesome wax's and budders, but really had no were to put them besides the parchment paper, but needed something solid. After hitting up the local headshop and finding out they wanted $40 for there cheapest dish! when i got home i check out etsy and found some very nice dishes for half of what the store wanted but still i was set on finding a way cheaper alternative.

I believe i have found a dam good example.

After strolling threw a local Asian market i saw a wide array of small sake dishs, and even some interesting looking chopstick holders. In the corner i saw a small basket with a assortment of different colored rocks small chopstick holders, picked it up and it was perfect! around the size of a skipping stone, heavy in weight, and had the most rockin divit in the middle perfect for a decent stash of wax :) best of all it was only a $1.50 and there were many colors to choose from...

After using it for a little while, i sure can say its one of the best $2 i have spent for my wax. I can pick up enough for a huge dab without the dish moving a inch, and even serves as a alright dabber rest. defiantly a cool little thing to have around and when you have a couple together its a very colorful array!

I hope this inspires anyone else to show off there cheap or DIY dish, and keep the ideas flowin.

Happy dabs:)

Glass candle holders make a nice little honey pot for waxes and oils. I even purge in mine if the amount of oil is low enough.
