Let me know if you find a good deal. Black market is fine as long as it comes with papers or i can hear it run first. Been dealing with this since i was 17...turning 40 thursday. Im still an active guy though, @GrowGod is rught though. Tighten that core. Even just tightening it when you lift something helps.
Yup, I’ve been getting back in shape the last few weeks and my lower back feels great! I didn’t go shit all winter and all winter my knees and lower back hurt daily. If I don’t stay strong I lean over and bend wrong without even knowing it.

Haha. :) GG 's right though.

Man I used to be really fit! I used to surf 4-5 times a week in my younger days. I was hanging five....on my way to hanging ten.... when I had my "accident" at work at ducked my back.

Bad back since 17? Man that's rough. At least I had some pain free years. I tell you... those pain free days now? Oh I relish that shit.

I did have another acupuncture appointment today but it got rescheduled. Last one worked very well for about a week. :)

Happy
40th !

Haha.
ITS ALL DOWNHILL FROM HERE! :)
Yea unfortunately its been a long road of this back issue. Ive had my ups and downs but i fight through it. I know people way worse off than i am. Started at l3-l4 and now its pretty much from above l3 down. Herniated, degenerative, bone on bone, you name it. All that to say right now im feeling blessed. Im able to work, play with my kids, grow my meds. It helps not being in construction anymore too. Still do manual work, but its a little easier for sure. I will say i always feel better when i stay active and stretch and move throughout the day instead of letting it tighten up. I used to work in an office setting and my back hurt worse from sitting all day than laying block all day lol. Sorry to ramble on there but Ive got plenty to say about back issues

I have been dealing with lawyers and workers comp since 2004. This is the shit I have to deal with.

Current doctor wants me to see an ortho spine specialist. He was alarmed at my condition.

So it' approved on 3-29-18. Few days later they change their minds. It' pretty frustrating. I need a new lawyer.

I wont let them do the fusion, been avoiding it for about 15 years haha. I did have a laminectomy? Bulge removal in my 20's. That lasted about 6 months of masonry and it was bad again lol. I have been getting steroidal injections with mixed results over the years. Decompression seems to be a big help, i plan on getting a teeter hangup style table soon. Right now i use the back extension machine at my work gym, hang from the pullup bar and do some stretches before work almost every day. If you can find someone that practices whats called "straight" chiropractic it really helped me alot. They dont do as many manipulations and theres a few other differences as well. I havent tried acupuncture yet, been thinking about it , just never went in.

Hey thanks dude. Too late on the fusion. They did a three level neck fusion in 2005. I saw three different spine neck surgeons. They all said I would be in a wheel chair if I didn't do it... I was scared and did it. Worst ducking part about that besides it still bothers me? I can't look UP at the stars very well. Kind of have to do a sideways thing.

I also had the lumpectomy dicsectomy done on the lower back. After that is when things got real bad. I think they made.it worse.

But the decompression and straight chiropractic.sounds promising. I had somebody tell me about insertion tables years ago and said it would help. Shit. I'm gunna start hanging around like a fucking BAT.

The acupuncture helped. It made a noticeable difference in pain levels. Hoping to get to a point where I can go in maybe once or twice a month...

It's been nothing but a nightmare. Fell off a catwalk at work into my butt/back.... and that's all she wrote. It was fucked because I loved that job. Started working there in 12 th grade and stayed there for 25 years....
