What was you tap or source water Ph to start with? I typically start with 7.0/7.1 source water and after mixing nutes the Ph falls to 4.5 as EJ is acidic out of the gate. I bubble 24 hrs there about and after 24 hrs my Ph has risen to 5.0/5.1. Then of course I have to Ph up to around 6.5 for soil feeds.
This is just a minor downside to EJ. Hope this helped.........
As we discussed on the phone I personally start with some light bloom nutes a week or so before flip. My thinking is I want the gurlz to have a pre-boost of bloom nutes a bit early so when they switch hormones to flower mode they already have some of those minerals and nutes to allow for the stretch and flower cycle. I dont have any scientific papers to back this up it is just my personal preference...........:smoking:
Looking nice Bro pulling up a chair for this
Oh im sure youre not far behing me sir, you'll be swimming in some of the best flowers here soon.I just hope mine turns out as good as @ArcticOrange 's grow. We will have to wait and see.

I my tap water is about 7 ph based on the color drops I use.
Once EJ nutes are added to water it lowers it to the 4ph range based on the bright red color of the drops.
Today was the day my nute bubbler started foaming. From what I've read that's the sign of microbial activity.

Today my Ph in the bottle has stabilized to the 6.5-7 range.
I looked at the feeding charts for veg and flower. Noticed the only difference is slightly less grow nutes and some added bloom nutes.
So I added a small amount of bloom nutes to the mix and once it runs out.
I will make a more accurate mix.
Lights come on soon I'll post my daily update then.
Very nice. I'm lovin the manifolds. Overall looking very healthy and vigorous. Did you get the link from my earlier post today @rmoltis ?
Dont over think it or youll end up getting 15 diff suggestions. Since you are critical on head space, I typically leave my blue MH in for the 1st 10-12 days. I have found it does help with stretch, that has been my experience anyway......... . Go 10-12 dayz and then swap your bloom lights in. Easy peasey bro........ :cool:I was just thinking to myself.
When is the ideal time to swap the mh with the hps bulb?
I've heard mh the first couple weeks helps reduce stretch. I like this idea.
Should it be 2weeks exactly?
And I know I'll find out when I switch.
But how much more or less heat will the hps throw off compared to the mh?
This hortilux super blue mh has a quite full spectrum. Producing 29k lumens. which is great for flower and veg.

But the super hps focuses on the red flower spectrum, while falling short everywhere else. Yet creating 55k lumens.View attachment 584568
I know most will say use the hps which I plan on doing. But could one argue the fuller spectrum would produce healthier plants? Or would the almost double lumen output override that?
So it's like this:
Fuller spectrum lower lumens
Narrower spectrum higher lumens
Which would produce a better final end product?
Did some light defoliation on the lower sections tonight.

Bottoms up!:party1::drunk:.
Work out some kind of catch basin for ur runoff rather than trotting them thru the house. Less smell and runoff can be jugged for later removal.
Look and see if there's a stick below that preflower or just a nub attaching it. Nubs female sticks male. Any 4x magnifier oughta show ya that.
I pick my keepers based on cured bud. Too many plants smell great but are weak.
