You have done a good job son. You have created a vascular system that will assure all of the nutes the mykos and root system take up are distributed evenly between the 4 cola's. This will allow you to keep the canopy even and the yield will be increased as there wont be any lower larf struggling to reach the light taking much needed nutes away from your 4 mains. You will be pleased I am sure......:smoking::D

Day 35

20160309 194628

Here are a few shots of the manifolds. Not all of them though.

Here is the one with a lower branch popped up during initial mainlining. It was trying to survive.
I kept it so I could have a cola grow up the center.
We will see how it goes. It is still being trained upwards.

Ive found it doesnt take more than a week or two in the bondage before theyll hold their own shape so youre getting there at least as far as the first turn in the manifold goes. Looking good there buddy keep up the good work.

For some reason my branches seem spring loaded.
I will leave them on until the tips grow out and away from each other. To ensure equal light exposure. Then once trimmed up I'm sure they'll be good.

HHHHH!
Are you using math-triangles to shape them? Lol! Looking perfect to me! This is so inspiring! Thank you for updating in such a regular way! It's very helpful to see this step by step of yours! I'm actually wondering how you get some individual branches to grow faster? For example: if one branch is too short, and you need it to grow faster than the other, do you turn the short one away from the light or just the opposite? You seem to be doing really good at this!...

I'm rotate the shorter branches further away from the light so they stretch to catch up to the other side. The other side in the light slows down it seems. The less light==more stretch. I make sure and rotate daily.

I also try to pull the taller branches down to keep the heights similar (if I can).

I really like this training process.
It is very fun. And cool watching the stems grow so fat. It does add some extra veg time at the beginning. It is but a small sacrifice/investment to give you a higher quality/quantity yield down the line.

I also believe it is easier of a process than it seems.
It was a little daunting at first not knowing how the plants would respond. Or if I would mess it up. But by the 2nd topping I felt confident about it. Also learned how tough these little things can be. I recommend people try it out. Just requires patience.

It is great getting the words of encouragement from everyone. Makes me feel like I'm on the right track. This whole experience is just great.

My center one I (wasn't in day 35 update)
20160310 184624

I'm sure the root mass is big right now.

They are ready for transplant but I need 1 male to pop up first :/ . If not & I get 5 females. they will need to flower in the current pots asap.

I'm pretty excited to get the flowering process started. They just need to pack on some height which they are accelerating at right now with the topping over.

I removed my false floor today in the tent to give the plants more vertical height since they are stretching.

It freed up approximately 4.5 inches without making me readjust the light from its lowest point.

Re-adjusted the fan controller temperature probe to the new canopy height. The fan controller has now dropped the fan speed back down to idle. Which has reduced the noise output.

I think the plants will like the higher light distance spreading the footprint into the corners better.

Great! Thank you very much for the input! Wasn't sure if they were growing faster when getting more light or stretching when in the shade... Thanks!
Keep that good work flowing man!!!

I placed a plant on the floor by my cat for her to smell. Mainly because I let her smell everything I interact with. But to my suprise she started eating one of the growth tips lol. I stopped her before she did any damage. It was still funny as hell. I didn't expect it at all.

Now maybe I can feed her some trimmed leaves once in a while.

The one with the extra branch growing from the bottom. I trimmed 3 more leaves off of it today. That's when I noticed it was growing 3 leaves per node. I wonder if I cloned it. If it would hold that pattern?

20160313 014141

I straight up ate the chopped leaves (chewed & swallowed).

On the plus side the extra branch will be reaching canopy height in no time. Just a few more inches and it will hit open light in the center where the other branches are pulled away from.

I wonder if it will take over dominance once it grows above the other branches?

Got a new Samsung Galaxy s7.
Hopefully my picture quality goes up.

Wife needed a new phone and doesn't care about what kind. So I got the s7 and gave her my S5. It was kept in an otterbox defender case since day 1 (did the same with the new phone). It is in mint condition and in her words "more than she needs".

Plants just woke up (light turned on)
the leaves are perking up as the time past lights on increases.

Now this one plant here seems to be needing some attention compared to the others. It has a yellow color all over compared to the rest.

Then has some leaf spots

Purplish stems (not sure if it is genetic or not. Some of the others have slight Purplish as well.)
