I was feeling good today and was motivated to clean house. I spent all day tearing the whole house apart. I had many durable storage boxes around the house so I organized & filled them up and put them away.
I moved furniture, collected clothes laundry etc. I still have another day or 2 to finish the entire house %100.
But I have already freed up a lot of room. Including much space in my bedroom closet.
This particular closet was where I first wanted my grow room to be. It was my 1st post in my planning thread.
Well I packed it full of storage boxes and made it to where I had a semi-flat surface about 3ft up on top of everything. I saved room so I could put a tent in there.
I pulled the trigger on a secret jardin (dark propagator 60).

It is a "24L×"18W×"24H tent. I got It %15 off for black Friday deals (glad I waited)
It will fit perfectly in the closet. The next size up was too big. This is their smallest tent.
I picked it because it fits in the closet and will house my 8 bulb t5 perfectly.
It's as if it was designed around my t5 fixture (L23.5"x W12.5" x H4"). Being 6 cu ft I will have a light density of approx 2,333 lumens per sq ft which is a lot.
I'm not sure yet if I want it to be;
A.) Mother room
B.) Male isolation & breeding
C.) Second flower room.
D.) Propagation
But I'm already planning pieces for it.
I will get a "4 inline canfan (200cfm) with a "4 phresh filter. I will mount those to the closet ceiling running a duct to a flange installed onto the wall where it will exhaust. Closet is 66 cu ft. So 200cfm should be ideal. This will keep the closet air scrubbed.
There is a 2nd hole in the closet will be for intake & furnace intake. I may mount an intake filter to this wall flange. That way all incoming air is filtered (I don't need stray outside pollen pollinating my plants.)
The exhaust fan will be temp controlled by the closet temp itself.
This will regulate room temp.
I plan on running a titan controls day/night temp based fan controller for this fan.
The tent in the closet will have a small speed controlled fan to ensure its cycling enough air to stay cool.
This 2 fan system is to help defeat the cold winter air headed our way.
The t5 will heat up the closet.
The tent fan will help cycle air from the tent into the closet ensuring proper temps.
The closet exhaust fan controls closet temps & air scrubbing.
I already have an apollo 9 digital timer on the way (I like my current one for the veg chamber).
The tent has "6 intake/exhaust ports.
If I get the spectre "6 filter I have now, with a "6 flange that would create least resistance through the tent.
I'm looking at a speed controlled fan like this for the tent exhaust. It is 52cfm. That means it clears the tent out 8.66x per minute. If I add the intake filter resistance it will be less but by how much?

I just need a cheap small speed controlled fan to vent the tent into the closet. If I'm worried I know where to buy a good fan. Just trying to save money where I can.
Since I'm taking my 8 bulb t5 from my main tents lower chamber. I ordered a 12 bulb t5 ho to replace it (because it fits the lower chamber). I'll just need to buy 12 more mixed spectrum t5 bulbs to replicate what I have now on the 8 bulb t5 ho.
More fun times ahead guys :)
