Looking quite tall for only a 10 day VEG. Healthy status for sure.

How much longer you running the plants?

Nice Venom!! For years when I did soil I was into 9plants a light, just have to veg a tad more than the number a light I'm doing now. That is some nice yields there too Venom! 2 or 2+ a light is where it's at! How long do you veg for Venom?

i veg anywhere from 30-40 days but think im vegging to long will do a 15-20 day veg next run and think i will get the same results

Yea im also in a tent Venom about the same size and I found out the hard way when I ran some XJ13 last grow--- Vegged for about 5 1/2 weeks-- Stretched like crazzzy and didnt seem to up the yeild too much.

Im thinking 3-4 wks Max is perfect for OUR growing environment.

Let me know what you think

Hey Alias: Yeah a 2-3+ veg would prob work, really depends on what kind your growing and how the stretch on flower transition adds to your overall height situation...
It's diff for everyone to a degree, I noticed an increase in veg vigor in the hugo/hydro method versus my ole soil plants. There are many variables, in the tents I'd imagine height becomes a main issue with leggy gals growing in there...
It's def worth trying a bit less veg if the strain explodes in transition, which will leave room for all the neighboring buds to breathe and they will typically be of a higher quality and chunkier if they aren't forced against each other....Sometimes you'll find your yield to be the same, strain dependent, by having less, more denser flowers vs. having the flowers spread out over more branches...really tho again I feel it's situation specific and I think if you just play around with it you'll dial it in for your setup!

Baba--

I def had to learn the stretch lesson the hard way-- that and the overcrowd rule.

My first go in the Tent I think I had 13 ladies going [ BC I was gifted 4 free from the club ] Let them VEG for 6 weeks and there was NO room in the tent.

In your experience with Soil what happened visually to your plants when you watered lets say a Day too late and they got dried out?

Do you know any deficiencies that go hand in hand with underwatering?

Hey Alias: As far as watering late or letting a plant wilt then water it...
The main thing that happens depending on your soil blend and its consistency; is that when it dries extensively it will crack and cave in from the container on the top perimeter and when you water it, fluid flows down those crevices and doesn't soak into the medium as efficiently when the medium is like desert dry. You basically have to reapply water in small doses with short waiting intervals inbetween and the soil will remoisten in a min or two and will hold water, but you will notice a bunch of your initial pour of liquid falling thru the medium rapidly.

If you waited long enough in between waterings and the plant has wilted badly, depending on genetics and your conditions you can have the plant enter a semi-permenant wilt, where it will, even when watered, have a slight downward appearance and slight wilt and this being sustained can lead to fusarium wilt or other pathogenic thingamabobber...lol

If you're just letting the plant dry out completely and it's not entering a wilted state at all then that is preferred as your getting more O2 to the plants and allowing your roots to grow out and get super fuzzy/healthy.
You def want to let your plants dry out well but don't let them start to look for water or have to play catch up of any sort after you do water. Keep em turgored!

Another thing is if your plant dried out badly and then you soaked her and she is back in action; you may notice a few days after saving her that some fan leaves or leaves closer to the light have dried up and died, that is fine, just pluck em off and the new growth will take over. And if your using nutes at a really high level and letting the medium dry to almost a desert floor you could be introducing pH spikes when you water depending on the water's pH that your introducing...Not sure if any certain elemental nutrient deficiencies coincide with soil drying out, although depending on your soil and micro-life you could promote things that could lead to some.
Over watering on the regular is much more of a problem and leads to many undesirable results; as long as you aren't letting them wilt but getting close to wilt your Fine!

Makes alot of since. I hadnt gotten the wilt-- I only noticed that when I watered say a day later than I planned-- I would exp the same def- Mg/ Ca and always at the point they had been feed.

Im also running from a completely organic base for the first time [ atleast up until mid- Flower] so im still ironing out some details.

I was gifted the whole line of Xtreme Gardening products whhich is completely organic-- Im impressed yet I now know that I need to Make my Own ACT instead of using there brew bc it lacks enough Nitrogen.. Everything else grows great but once it hits around flower they use up all the Nitrogen and their Tea doesnt contain enough for the plants liking. I need to find a suitable organic product w/ N

Yeah, not sure on the Mg/Ca deficiency having much to do with drying of the medium, I'd guess pH would be more affected with the overdrying of the medium, but it sounds like your doing fine on that end if you didn't see wilting and stuff.

Def sounds like you just need to play around with your tea feedings, Xtreme is sweet, you are talking of the RTI company right, the Mykos folks?
When going solo feed style with an ACT, you need massive reserves in the medium and need the medium at the proper rate of hotness...
Yeah, flowering cannabis plants can use a ton of nutrients in flowering versus some species, I'm excited to see you playing with teas and good ole natural plant foods!!

Just keep messing with it and take good notes and just approach it scientifically and soon enough you'll be telling everyone on here how to rock the Xtreme lineup!

rock the microlife:banana1sv6:
