Barenaked Ladies singer arrested on drug charges

Barenaked Ladies frontman Steven Page has been charged in New York state with drug possession.
TV and radio news reports out of Fayetteville, N.Y., say the singer was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance after cocaine and marijuana were found in an apartment just east of Syracuse.
The 38-year-old was apparently arrested on Friday and faces charges alongside two women.
Page's manager, Terry McBride, says from Vancouver that he won't comment while the matter is before the courts but is confident that Page will be cleared.
Until then, he says it's business as usual for the Barenaked Ladies.
Page was reportedly released on bail but is scheduled to appear in court July 17.
