Hey fellas, little late doing this weeks entry but here goes...

Day 27 of 12/12

I managed to get down to the hydro shop the other day and got some new nutes to try out, Canna's Bio Boost + Bio Flores. Started using the boost straight away @ full dosage as the ladies were overdue for it and ill start the Bio Flores in a week or so when ive ran out of the Terra i've got left. the PK13/14 i've been adding to the regular feed this past 10 days seems to have really sped up flower development, strange that canna recommend to use it only in the 6th or 7th week?

I'd have expected the streching to have slowed by now but there still growing about 3cm a day give or take. seems a tad late in flower to be growing that fast? what do you rekon??

overall shots of the garden - although looking bushier than Don Kings fro' ive decided after speaking to a few folk not to trim the fan leaves, i havent done it in past grows and i do struggle to see the logic a little bit. i did clear out the dead/yellowing leaves the other day - all 4 of them! and accidentially cut off a secondary node while doing it. oops.

all things permiting this area will turn into a fat-ass lump of weed.

we have trichromes people!!!!!!!!

the last few shots are my lone 'Killer bud' thats in with the Bluey's, didnt expect much but wow. if anything its showing more bud growth than the others, oh and i found out some info on it - it half purple haze..(apparently)
if anyone can tell me more about this strain i would be v. greatful. -it was from G13 Labs, based in the UK i think.

all in all i think im doing ok so far, everythings a good shade of green and they seem to be loving the PK13/14 ive been giving them - and they have started to smell of ganj too. which is nice.

p.s i just noticed a screw up on my last but one post - i wrote that the dose of PK13/14 is 15ml per litre which is wrong it is 1.5ml per litre or 15ml per 10litres as it says on the bottle. my bad folks.

went to go and get some pk 13/14 today and its not called that anymore its pk 7/8 now and they stoped making a bunch of there shit cali has new laws or something making sure what they say on the bottle is what it actually is and hella companies are scrambling kinda weird that this law comes and they "change" their formula i wonder how many of these companies were actually putting in the bottle what they say they are

yeah i agree bro that pissed me off and i decided to wait till they get their shit strait and all this figured out before i buy anymore nutes other than replacing a bottle if i run out of the fox farm ill buy some more but other than that im holding off

it would appear the changes in their product line could have come about because of this legislation, i know canna have certain organic components in most of their products wich is often created using a fermentation process, these 'aflatoxins' are created by certain fungi and cannas fermentaion process may have created alfatoxins which are now illegal in cal. which would explain the changes to their product line up. Canna have a website sepcific to cal and they havent updated that with any info or amendemtns to their product line which is pretty piss poor on the PR side of things imo. but rest assured they havent been lying about concentrations as far as i can tell.

day 33 of 12/12 (81days from seed)

Mornin Farmers,
well into the 5th week now and can see alot of swelling budsites that smell gorgeous, having a little issue with smell tho - my carbon filter need replacing badly, i can smell weed a metre away from my grow room easily..good times

i may have enough terra flores to see it through to the end afterall, ive only got 8 - 10 feeds left anyhow + was abit unsure about switching to a bio from a salt based fert this late on in flower.

upped the feed to 5ml Terra Flores every other day with a sizable helping of the bio boost i bought recently, im adding that @ 4ml per litre - aside from a slight PK overdose from the PK13/14 they seem to be loving it - im giving them a rest from the pk 13/14 and plan to start using that again in the 6th week right through till i start flushing.

Other than that all ive done recently is put some string up to support the side branches.

anyway thats enough jaw flappin', check out some baby bud porn..

blue cheese plant with a strange leaf pheno that seems pretty rare (Albanyjp if your reading this, this is one of the plants with the leaf tips curling under we were talking about in that other thread)

second tallest bluey - theres a chance this could be the biggest yeilder of the bluey's, which is awesome because this is the only one i took a cutting of. lucky much?

the lone 'Killer Bud' i keep bangin on about, turning out to be one lemony mutha truker. not a massive fan of the lemon weed but this one does smell really nice. sorta like an acidic lemon smell

thanks bro, when they were little i had to be carful not to nute burn em but soon as they grew up abit they got pretty ravenous, im @ full dosage now and may look at upping that slighty next week

i do find this strain abit finiky - as in if something goes astray the plants will let you know pretty quickly

haha - it has that effect on people, even more so when you smoke it!

bro once mines start showing preflowers they start showing defiencies. mainly nitrogen, through veg i fed them general organic lineup of nutes. i had to beef up the regular heavy feeding from 4 teaspoons per gallon to 6, which is exactly why i will stick wit my biobizz and advanced nutes. but otherwise i love this strain, if u know how to feed a plant based on its needs this is a very easy plant to grow. and the smell is just freaking dandy

i totally agree dude, my first grow was with an NL cut which was an extremely forgiving plant and just ate up everything i could throw at it so going from that to Blue Cheese i made some mistakes but after a steep learning curve the 2nd crop was alot better and i think ive about craked it with this 3rd crop of blues.

fraid it doesnt m8, its quite an old camra now, it does have a setting specifically for flowers under a bright light but ironically they come out worse than if i leave it on auto.

You ever had any look with correcting pics in photoshop?
