Been out last week and bought all new lights I got 8 x 2ft t5s that daisy chain together so the lights are sorted they will be going into veg tents that are 1.3 m wide and .75 m tall and .75 m deep stacked with a heat mat on the bottom attached to a temp controller from a vivarium set up just to take the chill off the floor I will post pics posted in the next few days seeing how these cracked in the water I can't see it being long before the heads are above soil thanks again for these gems bro I will do everything I can to do them justice100%...thats whats up. I would get the fluorescents right on top of those babies once they break ground. That way you won't have to deal with much if any seedling stretch. I see alot of people with stretched out seedlings flopping over, getting staked up, or even buried. Get those lights closer folks...
Looking good bro...

I wanted to use a couple of LEDS for veg when I start up again, thinking of getting a T5 to compare results...what sort of wattage do you think I'd need for my 1.2m x 1.2m?A single 4ft T5 unit would do the trick you think?

Dont ask manc....hes starting his first ever grow

1.2 meters converted to feet is 3.93 feet. So I believe a 4 foot t5 fixture is out of the question.
You would need 1.2192 meters lol.
Bzzzzz!!!!! Wrong again.....actually hydrofarms 4ft t5 fixtures are only 46.25" which converts to 1.175 meters
Bullshit!!! U thought they were 4ft.....dont gimme thatI'm just pulling his chain bro.
Figured you of all people would have known ;)
Bullshit!!! U thought they were 4ft.....dont gimme that
U came across these lights when u were fact checkin my measurements too, huh?I personally would stuff as many bulbs as possible in there.
Starting with a 4ft 16 bulb fixture

Then alongside that one a 4 ft 12 bulb.

You'd have 28 bulbs (1,512 watts) lol.
