I don't have a way of making the water warmer now.Ok. So should i turn the percentage up on my light? Or move the light closer to the plants to increase leaf temp? I just put new water in my res. And its cold. But it should adjust by tomorrow. Before i changed it though it was around 74 or 75°. But they started doing really good with those temps. Then my res got all out of whack. They were using nutes because my PPM started to go down. Even after 3 weeks
I just use a submersible aquarium heater. Cheap and easy.Do i need a damn space heater in my tent? Lol. To bring leaf temps up?
Have to run out but I use a lux app to get a rough guide for height. Use height to get even coverage and the power input for intensity. Back in about 30.I have my light at about 32 inches. Should i and can i move it down?
My res is already naturally getting to 75 degrees. Everday my tent is at 80 with lights on it gets warmer.I just use a submersible aquarium heater. Cheap and easy.
You have lower humidity? That will increase transpiration and in turn cause evaporative cooling... not a bad thing within reason. But root and air temps should do the trick to bring them up.
I have them both!I found this one to be a good app.
Lux Meter (Light Meter) - Apps on Google Play
Professional light intensity (lux) meter for your android device.play.google.com
Yeah that one you can calibrate against a know meterI have them both!great minds think alike.
Whay wattage is the light? And yes lowerI have my light at about 32 inches. Should i and can i move it down?
They work OK but they are the reason i have an actual spectrometer /ppfd meterYeah that one you can calibrate against a know meter
640 wattsWhay wattage is the light? And yes lower
Ive spent some money. Lol. That should have been something i got early on. I wish i had one nowThey work OK but they are the reason i have an actual spectrometer /ppfd meter
Ok. So in saying that....it seemed like when i had my light at 40% they really took off. So like younsaid. I wanted to do more. So i trimmed them and turned the light up. Now it makes me want to turn it back down and mellow them back out.The 30 inch mark is right where you should be. 30-38 inches is the accepted standard for a 600w LED. You have to remember that those LEDs are putting out a lot of light that we cant see. The plants can. Remember what i said aboit newer growers always wanting to do more, to so SOMETHING with the plants? Just makes sure youre giving them what they want and need and not what you "feel" they should be getting. This is exactly why so many new growers over water their new plants to death. Everything looks good bud, just let them do their thang.
First thing you do when you see issues is turn the light down since that is what drives the plant. By reducing you slow the progression of the problem. This is why ppl who grow under low light rarely see as many issues and the plants seem so forgivingOk. So in saying that....it seemed like when i had my light at 40% they really took off. ...... and the buds seem so airy....... you forgot that one...First thing you do when you see issues is turn the light down since that is what drives the plant. That's why we don't grow with florescent? Speaking of which...... and the buds seem so airy....... you forgot that one...
Like 30 inches?Yes you could
