Think that I was over zealous with my nute regimen. Spotted leaf tips on some of my plants doing the "curl down". Gave `em all a great big drink of water. Believe that I caught it without a lot of damage. All new growth looks OK, appears that only the fan leaves were affected. Will check on `em shortly and see how they look this morning. Clones are out from under their greenhouses too.

K.I.S.S. for this old fart. Got real good water. Will try to find my water report.

Somebody`s gotta update this journal and that somebody is me, like it or not. After getting a little heavy handed with my nutes, I do think that I managed to catch it early enough to prevent major harm. Some curled fan leaves and a few burnt tips are the only visible signs. All of the fan leaves were to be removed anyway in this training method. So let`s get started with a couple group pictures of the girls and guys.

6 of the 7 clones look good. #7, on the far left, looks like shit, but ain`t dead yet, so it lives for now. All of the big plants have 4 tops now. One more topping, in a week to 10 days and that will make 8 tops per plant. Then it will be time to watch them grow.

OK now, this being a Sunday means it`s time for an update on this journal. That falls on my shoulders, so here goes. I know that it appears I am making little progress, but I really am. I have one more topping and then we gonna watch `em grow. So let`s start with a group picture.

OK now, it`s time for an update on this grow log. Using the manifold technique of growing seems to be taking a long time compared to the more traditional methods. The last topping has taken place, so now it`s sit back and watch `em grow (I hope). First up is a group picture.

Nice job on your mainlining.

Depending on if you want 4 or 8 cola's. You'll be sitting back and watching them grow soon.

I really want to try this mainlining technique sometime, hopefully I'll get to it sooner than later.

So far, so good. Just seems to take forever to get to this point. Most of the work is done now, hopefully it will be worth it. I had to try this way at least once.

I really think you will enjoy the process and results. It takes some patience.

But once you reach your final topping all the growth will take off. The roots should be well established and more than enough to support vigorous growth for all cola's.

The delay from seed sprout to the point your done topping seems like forever. But once your done they will grow so quick you won't know what to do.

Word of advice.
During training and afterwards.
You will want to stress your main cola branches to encourage structural integrity. I like to lightly twist each stem left and right from the trunk bottom to each tip top each day.

As well as carefully shaking the branches by lightly twisting the pot left and right. Gets the branches swaying. the bondage of your stems and branches during manifold training will automatically thicken up those points. I'm sure you've noticed already via the fattening of the trunk/stems/branches.

If all is done well your mainline cola branches should be strong enough to support the flowers without added supports.

Mine are 6 weeks in flower today and their branches are thick/woody and strong. They have never needed support.

@rmoltis, thanks for coming by and the words of wisdom. Do have fans blowing on `em 24/7 and that does strengthen them.

I do have a fan on 24/7.
But they reach a point where the wind won't move em.

So in order to strengthen them even more I shake em up. You will give them thick woody trunk/stem/branches that are ridiculously hard to cut through. I need to use the mini saw on my Leatherman when I cut it down.

Yes sir, we gonna have an update tonight. Here we go.
First off we have a picture of the whole gang.
