Day 46 Fleur
DSC 2517

Single malt highland scotch.
Canadian flue-cured Virginia tobacco.
A small fire of fatwood and frozen oak.
And the dampening clinks and tinks of millions of tiny balls of ice
Remedied with a steaming bowl of a hearty chicken chili
Fuck yeah, winter!
Shoveled snow for 2 and a half hours this morning
Went for a drive in the ol' Subaru Legacy wagon to have my fun
Man... those things are little tanks. I'm not thrilled with the idea of ever replacing it for these newfangled cheap material ones...

Anyway.
Plants took the back burner for my attention.
But still got it.

Went to my old blaze riding stop in the Ru...

Still managed to be unpaved after all these years... quite endearing.
Best treasure it while I can by drifting some fishtails and almost careening into the algid creek that winds beside and occasionally under it.
😎🥶😏

Beautiful looking plant, just something about her, nice flower to leaf ratio, thought she looked lovely midway through maturing,
POTM nomination .
Thanks for that!
Yeah, she's got a certain classic appeal about her I'm quite fond of.

Took a clone because I botched the mom 🤦... but the cutting I took had a decent little popcorn nug on her...
Know it's early, but it's got that nice energetic, trippy, creative thing going on about it.
Takes the pressure off my joints. Super spacey.. probs good for meditation cause shit if I want to pay attention to anything right now...
But definitely some anxiety... not unmanageable and I'm sure it could be useful if I set my focus on something. But that'll likely reduce as it ripens.
Don't think I've smoked since September... 🤔

🤠🚀✨🌌

I’m laughing at the macabre reality of what she did, not your grandma passing. Sounds like my nana. Sorry for your loss.
I got you man. At the time I thought it was metal as hell. She was an irish lady who would take just about anything on the chin with the same cold blue eyes.

"I'm Irish. I can live with something being wrong the rest of my life."

(From the departed, not my grandmother)

My nana was a cold bitch in just the same amazingly awesome way.
Seems like a lot of the people I meet who pass 80 years are always just like,
"Everyone I've ever known and loved is dead and I hate them!

... those lucky bastards."

My Dad’s mom passed in the fall. She got old but kept it honest. I always asked her what she wanted me to sneak into the home for her. She’d say, “any contraband you got and some good dick” until all she said the last few days on repeat, “Bona Fortuna”

She was a saint and a proper lady most of her life but damn did she get extra hilarious towards the end and she knew it.

That was my Irish great grandmother as well.
