Best cookie recipe?

Looking for a great cookie recipe. Prefer real butter.

We have tried a few - seems like the Betty Crocker mixes are ok. Anyone have anything better? (Better=easy!)

there used to be a site called puff mamas in canada
i use their cookie recipes and wow great stuff!
she had a fire or something in the bakery
ever since, never saw it again.

I use the betty crocker chocolate chip mix. Add a teaspoon of real vanilla extract and a splash of 2% milk. Nobody thinks they are pot cookies until about an hour later when they are on the floor. Just substitute the butter for canna butter plus just a little bit more. Make the batter balls teaspoon size. Bake them for 10 minutes at whatever the bag says. They dont get as hard if you add a little milk and when you save them, put a piece of bread in with them and that will keep them extra moist.
