Best way to S1 my kush

I have a hand injury. So I only harvested the tops. And I'm renovating the space. Want to see if what's left will make S1 seeds. I'm going to keep them on a 12/12 and give them some veg food. But I haven't really tried this before. Not sure if there'd steps I should add. Anyone ?

Let me understand correctly
You harvest the tops and now there finished you want to seed the bottom

If you fully reveg them under 18/6 , 24/7 ect then flower then again it’s possible however that’s going to take a long time

You’d be just as quick starting from seed. As they take while to start reveg and they won’t have as much vigour as seeds will

Don’t get me wrong it’s possible I have reveged plants before they do take time mind

I just want to preserve some clones or seeds. I have to redo the grow room. So it will be torn down for a while. I can keep a mother going if I have to. But if I find some better beans I'll grab those.
