magnetic ballasts do not cause the same rfi interference, i highly doubt they would cause this, i have 8 1kw ballasts mounted to the wall right beside my powerbox where all my wires come in the house(cable, internte, electricity) and have never ran into and rfi problem
thank you very much...i actually ended up getting the galaxy grow amp 1000turbo and i have no more issues with rf

I run 4x600w Apollo ballasts (3@12/12, 1@ 18/6), my modem and wifi thingy (having a brain fart), is about 15' max (more like 10') and only behind a 1/2' drywall wall. im underground as well. ive had no issues with my Comcast (comcrap as I call it) in my current location and my previous condo location. both underground. I have my main tv and 3x lap tops directly above my grow area and still no issues.

I also run the generic apollo ballasts upstairs and I have never had any problems on my cable or modem plugged in downstairs.

Here's a funny question that may help clarify things for anyone else who reads this thread, what does your cable/modem have to do with your power? In my neighborhood the cable company would not show up because of my power (or vice versa). They are two different entities. Also, were you having internet or cable issues before they showed up? If not, who gives a fuck if their equipment is having an issue? If their shit is not working they need to fix their stuff. You should feel free to do as you please as long as you're not having an issue and your grow isn't going to affect your shit. Just what I take from what you're saying. Hope it works out.
And why is the cable guy aware of how much power your using? Something aint adding up.
