Has anyone else tried this strain. I'm trying to keep her short for manifold training and she seems to be having as much fun growing as I am training her! Stay tuned to see how big she gets before I turn her to 12/12 on Nov 1st.

AHH I broke a branch I hope it comes back ok. Other than that she is very straight forward to date. Smelling sweet and interestingly moorish when I was defoliating her. Will be turning her in two months so ride along to see how big this new strain gets before the flip

Clone....right.?
Seed! I don't do clones very often anymore. Seeds are cheap enough; I also breed some of my own seeds. I don't get locked into cloning anymore...uff it's diabolical and I'm super glad to not have to do it anymore...very glad. Realising now you are probably wondering wtf why so stocky, right? Because I keep the light close and strong early on until i top at node 6 then i lift the light to normal heights. I make a super awesome volcanic soil-based living soil...that is why they are so thick. I want them this way because fat stems grow big buds and are strong enough to handle the weight of big buds. I've been doing this a long time, and I feel I have this technique locked. It's also particularly good for prepping outdoor plants to be true monsters after transplanting out from the growroom. As you will see in some of my other diaries.

Week 8 Veg ..mini update
Blackberry Moonrocks is so far a very responsive plant. So it's time to train her for her transplant in a week or so to a 50l fabric pot. Hopefully her broken stem comes back it does seem to have recovered...looks like my manifold is going to have a thumb. All good, I'm enjoying growing this strain. Stay tuned when I update this week's diary in a five days or so.

I got a Berry Moonrocks (blackberry x blue moonrocks) from Power Strains planted 20/5. Ofc they wont be the same but if it's anywhere near the same ballpark it will hate overwatering and overfeeding. Prone to edema and guttation. Responds well to training. I did LST and 2 tops. I've only cut beat up or dying leaves. She's outside and well into stretch now. Does tend to get very bushy with training.

I also have some moon rocks for my winter photo run. Cheap enough seeds and if I get a pink plant I will be tickled pink 🩷

Hi, thanks for stopping by! I haven't had experience with either the strain or breeder (Alphafem), and absolutely fell for the name and description as I'm a sucker for 30+ per cent tolerance breakers with strong berry terps! So far no oedema issues, whatsoever..so far. She is going to be too small a plant for my limited prime outdoor locations so have chosen to turn her indoors. But i expect her to get rather big over the next 7-8weeks in this set up before i flip her to 12/12 hopefully it doesnt stretch too much or i may have to get brutal with the scissors.

Week 8 Veg mini update:
Ive removed the broken limb and turned it into a clone, the plant has bounced back well after the manifold training. About 50 days till the flip lol!

Ooh, this looks nice. I'll have to follow along. Pink doesn't make it stronger, but it sure does make it a more amazing experience. If I'm not running autoflowers, I'll often let them sit around 14 deg C during their 12-hour night cycle to flush those Anthocyanins/ Carotinoids, etc. Just ups the bag appeal so much, and i truly believe a serious part of the medicating is first, knowing you have some good shit to cool the heat, second, being able to see the quality and range of colours achieved by the grower and third and probably most importantly the Terps!
Ill pop over and check out your diary in a little but. Cheers for stopping by!

Week 9 Veg:SCROG prep time seeing as she has taken so well to transplantation from 6L to 15L pot. I'll be getting out the SCROG in a week or so. Stay tuned for more updates.

Week 10 Veg:
Filling out as expected, I think I like this strain! Very stocky so I'm expecting fat buds. Well, that's a long way away off yet but I'm liking the progress. I expect I'll SCROG her in a fortnight.

I literally came on this site to talk about the Kushberry/blackberry moon rock strain

Been contemplating buying but wanted to hear from someone how it was. I heard it’s ⛽

Nice!! Did you get yours from MSNL? I’ve only seen like two seed banks with that particular strain. I want to potentially cross it lol

Are you thinking about Anesia Seeds version of blackberry moonrocks? If so, great choice! I have not grown that cultivar (yet) but I have grown others from Anesia Seeds. Anything from them is a solid choice!
