A couple years ago my neighbor and his son in law went duck hunting at the local state park.
They came back home with 2 chickens they found wandering the woods.
Long story short, he built a hen house and now sells eggs at the roadside. LOL

And to answer your question from your thread, Cheeser! The hash I made the other day wound up being very low potency! Lousy! I had high hopes for it when it pressed! But I guess sitting in a paper bag for two years doesn’t do any good for the cannabinoid’s! L O L! Garbage in, garbage out! But I got to play with the screens!

yeah man, so it actually lost the potency a bit overtime chucky. maybe theres a perfect time to sample the smoke when its been in cure. like to much time, it may loose potency taste and such. ive still yet to get some screens. maybe be better making the hash first chucky. then storing that for long term storage.

I’ve got about 25 grove bags with bud In them! It’s in a lot better shape! Even the two-year-old stuff! Expecting a lot better results with that material! I would tend to agree with you! Storing the finished hash might be the better option! But in my opinion, it doesn’t Hurt to let it cure for six months, or even more before sifting! But I think anything over a year and you are pushing it! But these bags are piling up and getting unwieldy! Thus two of my least favorite words in the language, action required, are going to come in to play! But my stash still pales in comparison to Cpurrrr’s Legendary, Great Wall o totes, that she had Going in her basement That she had to deal with!

I think she had so much that hubby rebelled! Started squawking about growing more! So she spent all winter sifting it down to several cases of jars! She’s still growing! You go, girl!

Like you, I've been giving it away to friends and neighbors.
Unfortunately, with this year's crop being a total loss, I hesitate giving out too much without knowing what next year brings.
Hubby and I may not use much, but it sure is a blast to grow.

I also need to take last year's favorite '23 Familiar Fruit, and sift it.
I like using hash for edibles 'cause it's easier than flower. And I can make the cookies smaller.

Do you Decarb Before you sift? Or after? Or do you rely on the baking process to decarb? I’ve never tried sifting Decarb bud!

I don't think it would work decarbed 'cause the green would be too dry and get into the hash.
So I sprinkle the hash on parchment paper put it in the oven just like flower and toast it at 225F for about half an hour.
Then I add it to melted butter and make baked goods.

Might be worth a try. What do you think @GNick55?

You know, I have been a wine-o most of my life, until my stomach said enough.
Went off alcohol for a couple of years. Stomach started acting up, so I reached for a bubbly drink, beer, which I detest, and lo and behold, my stomach LIKED it! Calmed down and didn't give me any more trouble. LOL

So I found the least offensive beer, to my taste buds, and have enjoyed a couple each night.
Damn, how things change. LOL

So pretty. We have gray skies and brown trees. Oh, the grass is sorta green, when it isn't covered by snow. Yuck.
Do you have a gate? Or do you just pull it down? And how far do you have to drag the pots?

Just pull the fence down and roll it up! And get the pots Into the back of a pick up truck! Easier said than done when they are wet! But this stove up old timer, will get it done! Takes four-wheel-drive to get out of this hole! L O L! Will give the route in a few days to dry up some! Not a good place to get stuck! I rolled the pots on PVC pipe to get them to higher Ground till I can get them in the truck! Like the Egyptian rolled huge stones on logs to build pyramids! Ha ha ha! It works! Those pots probably weigh 150 pounds!
