I thought about it! I am old, so I have to keep them small! And the drainage here is terrible! Doesn’t perk worth a damn! Thought about using pond water to water the plants! But then read that standing water with a lot of organic stuff degrading in it is a breeding ground for pythium and fusarium! Don’t want to introduce that into my pots! The dogs and I used to swim all summer in it! Even have my well hooked up to it to try and keep the level swimmable! But that takes a shit load of water! L O L! But I still pump it to help out our fellow mortals get through the hot summers! I am lucky that I have good well water for the plants! Four years ago, it was 6.9 PH & .3 EC! Close enough for this clodhopper!
