The smell while trimming was almost overwhelming. After a while of smoking during an evening, I lose my ability to smell well. However, while trimming this lady, I was almost overtaken by the smell. It was seriously overwhelming a bit. Anyhow, the smell was acrid, musky, fruity, as in some sort of floral blueberry, and perhaps a rubbery smell. The smell will definitely change as it dries, but it is super strong. Think it's time to update my carbon filter.
That candy kush looks awesome. Can you tell me a little about it and its genetic makeup?
Your blue widow looks great. I would top the hell out of her. Almost all the buds at the maximum canopy level were of equal size. Meaning, there is almost no benefit to running a single cola plant. My next run with her will be seriously scrogged and she will be bent over. With this one, during the stretch, I kepy bending her over, super cropping, and tying her to the various supports you see in the picture. This served to open the canopy for light penetration and to provide branch support for heavy buds.
I'm running blue widow in organic hempy and autopots to compare yield. Anyhow, she seems like a lucky find and a gem. Happy to have sprouted her. It will be interesting to see how she performs from clone without a taproot.
