After 5 days from transplant, they've dropped more roots and hitting the reservoir/nutes(dwc).

Foliar with 1/2 TBSP per gallon of Mg.

50 % strength Mr Fulvic in reservoir.

Top fed with 325ppm Jack's 321 x2 day.

Roots have dropped more and now touch the res.

I'm having issues with yellowing as you see. I can only assume it is the led intensity?

It looks like they're starving so, I backed off the light, dropped it to 25% and upped the nutes, added Fulvic and foliar fed with Mg.

With the LEDs @ 25% the temps have dropped a few degrees.

Any thoughts?

I think they're stalled. Not much happening and new growth is pale yellow. Root growth is slow.

Should I top feed them from the reservoir?

Really not sure what's going on here.
5 clones 1 seed

They all have the same yellowing.

I moved the light up and they get 140-170 PPFD.

Ph 5.95 stable
Resevoir temps 68-70

Air Temp 74-76
LST 74-75
RH 60-70%
VPD avg. 1.06

The resevoirs we're dosed separately. Starting tap @70 ppm

This order:
Potassium silicate 50% strength
1 hour (wait)
Jack's A 3g/gal
15 min (wait)
Mg 1g/gal
Jack's B 2g/gal
Mr Fulvic

2x day top fed with res nutes.

The clones and seed are rooted in rapid rooter cubes under hydroton.

The nets are an inch above resevoir surface with tons of aeration from 2 2x4" stones.

It's either low temps with LED and/or something in the water. ( I really have no idea now)

I've ordered CalMag + H2O2 (12%) and Hydroguard.

I've added a heat source to up the temps. My next step is a complete res swap along with sterilized containers.

I didn't expect this. I've got clear snot dripping from the tips of the roots. I don't see how it got in there after 10 days.

I've swapped the old containers with new sterilized ones. New nutes, added hydroguard. New airstones and washed off the roots with tap water.

Very strange as I had been using h2o2 at minimal doses just in case something like this came up.

Also, my nutes we're cloudy. So strange. I left out the Mr Fulvic for now until later.

Time will tell.

Compared to my last run..

Was the last run your first run in that system or has it been used before?

Last run was a wholly new run and also in a diff place. Nothing that's being run now has been used before. From hydroton to tent, all new.

You got me thinking. Those stones and tubs were running for a week with plain water, no bleach/h2o2. That could have given the bacteria time to build.

Hopefully the change up and addition of hydroguard will help them bounce back.

To note: the res changed to cloudy after Mr Fulvic. Could Mr Fulvic cause a bacteria bloom?

So environment variables are all stable, I've dropped the nutes to 400ppm, added hydroguard, Southern AG and Orca.

Hope these baby's turn around.

After the addition of Hydroguard/Southern AG/Orca, I woke up to giant balls of slime on my roots. Overnight it went from cleaned roots to giant hanging globs of bacteria. I kneejerk rinsed the roots again and didn't get pictures. I'm sure whatever it is will be back by days end

I'm hoping this is the beneficial bacteria growing and not some adverse bloom of bad bacteria.

Slime hasn't come back like I thought it would. There is a lot of floating bio gunk in Res 1 and 2. I'm thinking the Hydroguard, S AG and Orca blew up and either ate all the bad stuff or it was the initial biocoating of newly formed colonies. Roots look like they may be growing again. The top part of the plants are looking rough though.

I've wrapped all the resevoirs with double bubble mylar insulation. Before, there was ver dim light penetration at the sides.

Added 1/4 cup of H2O2 12% to keep sterile until roots can reach the res.

There may be a light at the end of the tunnel for first babies.

The PH on res1 and 2 drifts higher from 5.9 to 6.2 every 24 hours. No more snot though.

Gave 1/2 a new GH air pump, and moved the other air pump to new babies.
