Forgot to mention, @hiiipower (and anybody else who might be interested in this thread), feel free to post your own pics if you want. I'm pretty interested in seeing that Apollo 11/13 cross you have, so if you feel the inclination, go ahead and post some pics. Might be kinda cool to compare and contrast and all that.

@tags420 here's a link to that thread: https://www.thcfarmer.com/community...cts-nutrient-use-in-plant-tissue.58621/page-2

Crashed out on the couch early this evening while watching the playoffs, just woke up an hour or so ago, gonna read it tonight when I get in bed. But anything @Seamaiden tells me to check out, I check out haha.

@hiiipower Here are some nug shots of the Stevie Wonder. They don't necessarily look the greatest, but these nugs are very, very sticky. I have about 20 or 25 different strains at home right now and I just keep reaching for this one. Seriously, I open my cupboard thinking to myself,"Okay, you HAVE to smoke something different today, no more Stevie for a day or two," peruse the jars and finally go,"Fuck it, I love the Stevie and I don't care...." hahaha!!!

@Growin Grass Youre obviously a music fan, have you been listening to the latest Alabama Shakes album? "Sound and Color"? Fuck, it's good. Wasn't a big, big fan of their first album, although I did think it was okay. But their latest is the shit. Pretty much only been listening to that for the last two months or so, along with "Living in the Material World" George Harrison. I dunno why, besides the obvious fact that those two albums are clearly resonating with me right now.

Sorry to anybody who might be like,"WTF? Now he's talking about music??? I thought this was a grow report." But I have the day off today, can't get into the tent until 830 tonight and I have nothing to do until then, besides take the dogs for a walk haha. I might get around to finally charging the bio-char I have today. Been researching the best ways to do that this morning. If anybody has a preferred method of doing that, I'm all ears. I was thinking maybe soaking the char in a very strong solution of Neptunes fish/kelp hydrolysate or maybe brewing an ACT and soaking it in that for a while. @Seamaiden suggested pee, maybe I'll do that.

Anyway, this is my thread haha, and right now I wanna talk about music. And to the few people who've seen posts from me, it should be pretty clear that I ramble and get off-topic sometimes. Although I think that music and cannabis are the same topic, kind of. They both make my life better, so....

And if the few people who are following this thread are interested, listen to "Sound and Color" asap if you haven't already. Great album.

The only thing I heard from them was their recent song that's blown up and my coworker listens to top 40 radio A LOT and to turn it up load enough for him to hear it, the whole shop hears it. It doesn't take long at 4-5 times a day to ruin a song for me. That being said, I did like it the first couple times so yeah, I'll have to check it out.
Lately been listening to a lot of Rev Horton Heat, Man or Astroman?, Del and the Funky Homosapians, Wayne Hancock, Goddamn Gallows, lol, yeah I'm allllllll overtheplace!

Man or Astroman??? Really?!? They're still around? I saw them open for Jesus Lizard like 20 years ago, back when I lived in Portland. Actually got to hang with them and Jesus Lizard before and after the show.

I never really thought about it until just now, but somehow I've managed to meet and hang with a bunch of artists I admire. Somehow, over the course of my life, I've been friends with people who are friends with artists I really admire. John Spencer Blues Explosion/Boss Hog, Jesus Lizard, Swervedriver, Helmet (waaaayyyyy back haha), even kicked it with Willie Nelson once and fucking Bono (who was a pretentious dickhead, btw. And also got lewd with my sister, I was super-pissed and didn't break his jaw just because the people I was with convinced me it wasn't a good idea; I still think it was a good idea haha).

Reverend Horton Heat? Del the Funky Homosapian? Man, you are taking me waaaayyyy back haha. I saw the Rev a long time ago, in, I think, St Petersburg FL. Good show.

Didn't realize that Alabama Shakes was even getting played on top 40 radio. I never listen to the radio, so.... But good for them, I guess. Right? As much as I hate commercialism and selling out (which I don't think A Shakes did at all), I'm always happy to see bands who deserve to make it, make it. Fuck Justin Beiber and Katy Perry and all that garbage. Those people have no business making music. But if Alabama Shakes is getting paid, good for them. People who deserve it deserve it. The only thing I hate about bands I like getting big is it means I can't go to their shows anymore haha. Never mind the difference in ticket prices between their firsts shows at tiny venues like the echo and subsequent shows, after they get big, at like the forum or staples center. It's more the crowd that I just can't deal with. And I realize that that's my own problem, but frat boys and shitty drunk girls really ruin the whole experience for me.

If you haven't already, check out "Fate" by Dr Dog. Fucking great album. I think you'd like it.

I'll take full plant pics tonight so I can get this thread back to Bodhi stuff. But I love music, so anybody who's looking at this thread, try to accept that I'm gonna start talking about other shit (music, mostly probably; and maybe just whatever's on my mind haha)....

Also, my screen name is from the band Miniature Tigers, which is who I was listening to when I joined the farm (yeah, I tend to go the easiest route; or at least the route that requires the least amount of thought haha), but if you haven't heard them, their album "Fortress" is THE SHIT. I listened to it at least twice a day for like two years after it came out. Such a good album. Everything they did after that sounds like they're trying to get a song in the latest Apple or Volkswagen commercial, which blows, but "Fortress" is reeeeallllyyyy good. "Egyptian Robe" is my favorite track, but the whole album's good.

Okay, sorry everyone, I'll get this thread back on track when the light turns on tonight.

More "tight" than "dense." They're extremely compact nugs, but without the weight that you'd think those golfball-ish buds would suggest. Either way, really good meds. Blazed some a little bit ago and got all stoked to take my boxers for a walk. Ended up getting rained on a few blocks into it haha.

Gotta love seeing all this rain in CA right now.

Bummer about the timing re: your Apollo11/13, but whatever. That month will fly by.

Man, got into the tent last night, took some of the plants out so I could get better shots and shit, moving things around. Ended up taking probably 100 pics over the course of an hour or so, all pleased with myself and shit. Went out to the tv room to load them to my computer and...

Me: "Baby, can you download these shots I just took, please?"
Her: "Uhhhh, you didn't have the memory card in the camera. It's still out here from the last time we downloaded those shots."
Me:"Oh...." hahaha!!!

But I gotta water the plants tonight, so I'll take pics then. With the memory card in the camera haha.

I gotta say, they look fucking great. All of the plants leaves are sticking almost straight up, nearly perpendicular to the meristem, praying their asses off. They seem very happy. I took a couple shitty pics with my phone, after the real camera incident haha, if they look decent enough to post, I'll do that shortly.

Okay, here are some phone pics. Not happy with the quality at all, but maybe y'all can get the idea anyway.

The Clusterfunk. That one is really starting to fill out, might not end up being the last to finish after all.

One of the Goldstars. You can kinda sorta see the leaves really reaching for the sky in this one.

And another Goldstar. I think that one is gonna be a pretty good producer.

Okay, real pics tonight, fo sho.

Like your choices! Apollo is my favorite. I'm really searching for happiest stuff, that's what I like the most. I think the Apollo 11 genius' and the prayer tower sativa will give me a good chance at that. Hoping the P tower sativa isn't too racey. I tried to look at that big mon thread but it wouldn't let me see the pics. Gonna be a bit still until I plant any of those. I have a bunch and wanna move into a bigger spot so I can run them all at once. Some day.. Running eclipse(Apollo 11 x Apollo 13) right now from tricloud, so I'm hoping to find something in there to hold me over for now lol. They're growing just like your Apollo 11's, really vigorous and branchy as hell.

Meant to comment on your concerns re: the Prayer Tower Sativa possibly being racy. I got a couple batches of straight Lemon Thai a few months ago (one greenhouse, one indoor, but I'm assuming they came from the same grower), just for the purpose of kind of getting an idea of what to expect from the Prayer Tower. And also, I just love Lemon Thai and I don't see it around that often, so....

It's not a racy high, I don't think. Lemon Thai always makes me very happy and "Put on some music and crack a few beers open"-type thing. If the PT does end up having that "anxious" edge to it, I'd have to assume that it comes from the Appalachian side of the equation. Chems very often will make me a little edge-y for the first 30 or 45 minutes. I loooooove the way they smell and taste, but they can be a little overwhelming at times. Never smoked Appalachia or Tres Dawg, but if the PT makes me anxious, that's gotta be the reason why, because Green Crack never makes me nervous.

Just as an aside, Stardawg is one of favorite strains of all-time, so not all Chems fuck with my head in a negative way.

It'll be interesting to see how the more Indica-leaning PT smokes compared to the more Sativa-leaning one. Guess I'll find out in about eight weeks.

Ahhhhh, good to know. After last night, I was just like,"You idiot....." haha! Live and learn, I guess. Or live, anyway. I'm still
learnin'....

The good thing about it is that my girl always gets a big kick out of me doing "Stupid Stoner Stuff" haha. She isn't one of those chicks that gets all annoyed when I forget things or accidentally put her car keys in the silverware drawer or something haha.

As someone who's had my fair share of run-ins with the law, I'm not sure I like the subject matter haha! Never heard of this guy, btw.

Post anything you want. If it bothers me or I don't like it, I'll let you know haha, that's 100% a fact. I'd prefer it if anything regarding The Law was kept away from this thread, though..... Hahaha!!!! Despite the fact that I'm 100% legal and allowed to grow as many as 99 plants (which I'll never even come close to), I still don't like the po-po haha. And I kind of believe in, like, the whole "laws of attraction" or whatever, so.... I feel like the less you worry, the less you have to worry about. And the less you talk about "bad" things, the less chance you have of bad things happening. Or something.

Am I making sense right now? Sorry, I just blazed some Tangerine Dream, which is my absolute most favorite "Dutch genetics" strain. I'm baked haha. It's sunny out today, just ate some lunch and I'm gonna take the dogs aka My Security out for a walk in a minute.

I love Wilco, btw. "Yankee Hotel Foxtrot" is one of my five "albums I can't live without" albums. Been listening to Summerteeth a lot lately, which is probably my second favorite Wilco album. I'm sure you've heard them, but give 'em a listen if you haven't. Or even if you have haha.

Okay, finally, some pics.

I didn't realize it until tonight, but one of the reasons I'm so reluctant to get in there and take as many pics as possible is because I'm totally OCD, terrified of bringing in some sort of pest or something. That, despite the fact that I take a shower before I go into the room. And I don't fuck around; I take a shower, dry off and go directly in there.

Also, I canNOT for the life of me figure out how to get rid of the "red" in the pics taken with the real camera. Been fucking around with it for three days (at one point, every pic I took was just straight up white; you couldn't see anything at all, it just looked like a close-up of snow or something). If anybody at all who knows anything about cameras happens to stumble across this post and feels like helping a brotha out, please do.

Anyway...

The tent:

The three Apollos. I have to admit, Bodhi's description of the way these smell are dead-on PERFECT. I never would have called the smells the way he did, but he's exactly right: straight-up over-ripe, almost rotting pineapple with a hint of cheese. The smallest one (I think) has a more pronounced "cheetos thing" going on, but all of thhree have it to some degree. And also a very sickly sweet overwhelming candied pineapple thing going on. Getting pretty stoked about these (and all the others, too, of course haha).

A little closer shot of one of the Apollos. As you can see, they're very, very branchy, tons of budsites. I can't wait to grow this one again, with a little better planning next time.

More Apollo...

More Apollo.

One last Apollo close-up. I really apologize for the shitty lighting. Wish y'all could see just how frosty these are getting, that red lighting really fucks shit up.
