Sry to say but when you say PT smells like Green Crack that made my day big time. I'm not a huge fan of the chem smell myself, so I'll take tropical fruit all day. To each his own right! Not gonna lie, I was bummed a few weeks ago when you said they first smelled like burnt rubber haha, glad that changed. Beautiful long full colas on them too and they don't look that close to being done either. You got me stoked about those, nice going!

Don't be sorry for liking Green Crack hahaha!!! I do, too. I just thought it was interesting that the PT's smelled so Chem-y just a few days ago. Now there ain't a whiff of that. But I think that'll change. Seems like all of the plants' nose are changing a bit every day.

You ever read that quote from Ed Rosenthal? It basically goes,"Some people say marijuana is addictive. To those people I say 'Try growing it....'" Ya know? I'm definitely addicted haha. Still have at least four weeks to get all of these plants finished and I'm already thinking about my next run....

Yeah, the Goldstars have this unbelievable indigo hue to them that is really beautiful. I love them haha. Can't wait to try them out.

Okay, so I fucked up and skipped a day of watering. Had been watering every other day. Watered tonight for the first time since Saturday night, so three nights ago. The plants, particularly the Apollos, obviously didn't appreciate it. Lots of droopy leaves, brittle stems etc. I've been pulling off dead leaves and shit as they, uh, die for the duration of this grow, but I accidentally ripped off a decent sized nug from one of the Apollos and also a little nug off the Appalachian-leaning Prayer Tower tonight, I'm assuming because of the brittle stems. Swear to gawd it was an accident, but I guess I'll be sampling a quick-dried, uncured sample tomorrow haha.

All of the Apollos are coming down within seven days at the very most (so max 52 days if I wait a full week from tonight) and probably within the next three or four days, regardless of whether or not I see any amber trichs (and I haven't seen a one so far). As much as I love them, I'm fucking over them haha. I really want more room in my tent. They're so branchy and all over the place that I'm having to space out all of the plants further out from the light than I'd like, so.... They're getting chopped real soon.

Having said that, and taking into consideration the extra day of not watering, things are looking good and smelling very stinky. Really hoping I wake up tomorrow and everything looks a little perky-er, though.

Anyway....

Aaaaarrrrrgggghhhhh!!!!! Went and got a little 3x3 tent to dry my plants in (gonna need it down the road to veg/clone/keep mothers in anyway), fully anticipating to chop the Apollos tonight. Got the tent, got a little 4" vortex and carbon filter, all the shit one might need, spent almost $600 that I really do not have, but I forgot the fucking flanges. Just spent like two hours setting up the tent, getting everything ready, went to hook up the fan/filter and then was like,"Gawddamn...." haha.

I always forget one thing! Hahaha!!

So now, all day while I'm at work tomorrow, I'm just gonna be thinking,"The Apollos shoulda been chopped, the Apollos shoulda been chopped, the Apollos shoulda been chopped...." AND I have to go to my friend's birthday dinner immediately after work. She's one of my oldest and closest friends, so I can't skip it. But the whole time I'm gonna be like,"Get home and chop, get home and chop, every hour you wait is an hour that the Apollos are getting past peak ripeness..." sweating bullets and shit haha. And I'm already at least four days behind, really shoulda chopped them at least five days ago. What a waste.... But maybe not? Fingers crossed.

This is why I always usually make a list before I go to the store. Didn't this time and now I'm hating it....

Positive note: I blazed a quickly-dried nug from the branch that snapped off of one of the Apollos and, um, it's fucking bomb. @hiiipower It is extremely happy and positive, not racy at all. Very heavy eyes and big-time permagrin. You will not be disappointed, I'm certain of that. Really, really good and that's taking into consideration the complete lack of a cure AND the fact that I'm capable of being objective, even if I was the person who grew the weed. It's fucking GREAT. Tasted like green apples (which makes sense, since it wasn't really ready to be smoked), but it was still delicious. And I could not stop smiling. Very happy, very sociable, very "everything I was hoping it'd be."

I say pop your beans ASAP haha.

The three Apollos. They look good in person, but in this pic, they're pretty gnarly-looking, no? And in person they're pretty gnarly-looking, too, but in a good way. I am not happy with this pic at all haha. I don't feel like it's doing any justice to how well these plants are doing. Having said that, they are a fucking mess. Branches everywhere (hope y'all can see that in these photos...), flimsy stems, shit is drooping and dangling all over the place. Im not mad, I knew that Apollo 11 tends to have weak branches and super-branchy and bushy growth patterns. Having said that, I did it a different way than my girl does it (read: she makes it easier to see the pics before they're uploaded; I dunno what the fuck I did, but it's taking longer to check out the pics before I post them.... I thought about duct tape, bu I'm way to OCD for that. Even though nothing's ever perfect, I try. And at this point, I'm probably not gonna have time to chop them until tomorrow night at the earliest anyway, so maybe not too early?

Gotta water tonight, I'll take some pics then. You should see the Clusterfunk. It's now officially my favorite plant in the tent. And I only planted those seeds as an afterthought, a week after everything else, just because I realized I didn't have any Indica-dominant hybrids in this grow.

Hey, guys. First of all, sorry for not posting pics last night. I only got like three hours of sleep on Saturday night, then had an extreeeeemely busy day at work yesterday, was there for almost twelve hours, working non-stop (fucking Valentines Day..... It isn't even a real holiday). Then had to do the whole V Day thing with my girl once I got home. No energy nor desire to get in the tent and take pics last night. I actually slept for almost ten hours, which is about twice what I normally sleep. But I'll take pics tonight for sure. Gonna chop the Apollos so I guess pics are a must, right?

Secondly, the Lemon Thai-leaning Prayer Tower isn't looking so good. Basically, all of the leaves have turned yellow. Started in the middle of the plant but has now spread pretty much throughout. It's definitely not a "the plant's just using the last of the available nitrogen or whatever" type situation, because there wasn't any sort of slow fade and then getting crispy and dying off situation. They just turned yellow. They can't easily be pulled off, so they're not dying. Like I said, they've all just turned yellow.

If I'm not mistaken, this started happening the first time I watered after I skipped a day of watering. Had been watering every other day, but skipped a day, so I guess the plants went what? Two days without water? All of the others look fine, so maybe this one plant just needs more water.

Looked into it, there were all kinds of different reasons I came across. Ph issues, root aphids (I really don't think it's that), overwatering (don't think it's that, just cuz of what I stated above about skipping a day of watering), root bound, over/under feeding (I don't "feed" my plants, so I doubt it's that) etc etc. If anyone has any ideas, please lemme know.

I realize pics would help (like I said, I'll take pics of all of them tonight), but if anybody has any ideas before they see the pics, I'm all ears, cuz I'd kind of like to get this handled ASAP. Meaning, like, tonight.

Sounds like the natural fade of maturation. They get yellow and can't be pulled off easily at first, then after fews days or week of being yellow they come off easily, but not always. Was the plant super dried out when you watered it, like limp leaves and all? If not then probably not from watering. Good luck. Hows that thing smelling btw???

Have you been feeding at same rate or lowering or increasing?

I don't feed, I just water. Everything's in the soil, so....

This doesn't look like the natural progression of plants using available nitrogen at the end of flowering or whatever. This is something else. Or, fuck, man, I dunno. Maybe it is just natural maturation. But the fact that it happened so quickly and all over this one plant makes me think that it's something else that ain't natural. Or not healthy, anyway.

Today is 51 days into flower, which seems extremely early for the PT to start the finish or whatever. But shit, what do I know? Maybe I just happened upon an extremely quick, fast-finishing Prayer Tower. All's I know is that this is the only plant that's exhibiting this kind of horrible-looking yellow leaves thing. Again, they don't necessarily look "unhealthy," they just look way too fucking yellow for my liking.

Gonna take a shower in a minute, chop the Apollos, water the rest of the plants, take pics etc. I'll post a few pics of the "yellow" PT in a few hours.

Plus side, my friend Natalie came over earlier tonight and couldn't stop talking about the j of the quick-dried Apollo we blazed at her bday party a couple nights ago. Shit is BOMB. Period. The end. I'm just hoping I dry and cure them properly, cuz the quick dried nugs kinda blew my mind. For real.

Pics shortly. Just wanted to say, before I forget, that the Appalachian-leaning PT is now my favorite plant. It fucking explooooooded over the last three days, had to stake it two nights ago and it reeks. Not sure if it's that plant or which plant it is, but something in there STINKS of cinnamon. Or at least, I think it smells cinnamon-y. I yelled for my girl to come into the room to smell my fingers (yeah, yeah, I know, haha whatever.,, But seriously) and I put my hands up to her nose and she agreed: straight cinnamon. But once I got done in there, I put my hands up to her nose again while she was showering and she said,"Maple syrup...."

Either way, something in there smells like straight-up cinnamon and molasses and s'rup. Fucking. Delicious. Unique. And now I'm thinking I really fucked up not taking cuts of these plants. Even as I'm typing now, all I can smell is spicy spicy sweet sweet....

Okay, I can tell by the stake in the background that this is definitely the Appalachian-leaning PT. Also, all I can smell is the cinnamon on my fingertips right now.

And another Goldstar pic. I'm so in love. Gotta say, too, that my girl fixed all these pics. And it only took her like 2 seconds. I really wish I wasn't "Computer Dumb." And also, I still can't smell anything but cinnamon. And my fingers are sticking to the keyboard right now. No lie. They're sticking to the keys....

The Apollos are sitting in the "drying tent" which actually makes me really happy. I wanted more room in the "flowering tent." I have to say, too, that it seems like all of the plants are all of the sudden starting to finish up very quickly. The Goldstars will be the last to finish, but those Prayer Towers especially had tons of white pistils everywhere just last week. But, as you can see from the pictures, they look like they're gonna be done pretty soon.

Sorry, super-fucking hammered and lit right now, excuse any typos and whatever all else. But I think those pics look pretty fucking good. Props to my girl for fixing those pics, too. Only took her like one second to fix them (yay).

And I'm still smelling nothing but cinnamon on my fingertips....
