Bodhi Seeds Thread.

Also ordered from a different seedbank a few days ago Tree of Life (not a huge Jack Herer fan, but I'm interested because Bodhi didn't use the Appalachia male or the Snow Lotus male) Sunshine Daydream (read too much good shit about that to skip it), Larry Lotus (had my eye on that one for a very long time), Mountain Temple and Dream Beaver (no explanation necessary for those two, I don't think haha). I've read as much as I could find about the Larry, SSDD and the Dream Beaver, but if anybody has any experience with the Mountain Temple and/or Tree of Life, I'm all ears. Tree of Life I'm particularly interested in. There's like nothing about it anywhere.

That makes I think an even dozen Bodhi strains, just waiting on my Green Qube to get started. Got an Apache AT 600, shit is really heavy, Green Qube's the only tent that could hold the weight. But since it's coming from England, it's taking a whiiiiile. Didn't really help that they sent the wrong size, had to send it back, still waiting on the new one....

Mountain Temple was one of my alternate choices when I ordered Sunshine Daydream from SVOC its on my list for future grows.

anyway all iv read about the appollo (apart from the lineage)is that it was the appollo lines that bodhi had bred into seedform with the sole intention of breeding with it but he liked the line so much he kept working it and released ot to the public.thats all i know past the discriptions on the seedbanks.
its great to hear you got a dearth of bodhi gear.if i had the $ i would get moontang i think.im going to pop my nepali og x goji f3 testers soon.i love my goji so really looking forward to them.

Appollo 11 is different to appollo f4 im pretty certain.bodhi is pretty presice with his lineages and stuff.

Yeah, I woulda been all over that Moontang as well if I didn't already have the Super Snowlotus. I know there was some confusion about whether or not Bodhi had the real MSS or the '91 Chem. Or, er, something. In any event, I believe the female used in the Clusterfunk is the Chem and the Super Snowlotus female is the MSS. Got them both, so....

As far as the Apollo, I figure Bodhi must be using the same Genius cut for all of these, but the fact that the first pack I got was labeled f4 and the pack I ordered today simply said "Genius" made me go,"Hmm...." Still, if I get this new pack (fingers crossed) I'll feel much more comfortable popping a few and having a look without the fear of fucking them up and losing those genetics. Which means that somewhere down the line, I'll be able to f5(?) them. I mean, that's the plan anyways.....

Oh yeah if one says Chemdog 91 &one says mass super skunk,theyr different.Bodhi is totally transparent and he doesnt sell beans with the wrong lineage.if the labels dont say the same(i mean the writing)then theyr different strains.
and taking your Appolo to the next level is a great idea!i wish i had good ideas like that mini T.lol

Okay, emailed Bodhi re: the Apollo 11 f4/Apollo 11 Genius, got back to me in less than twelve hours (what a guy.... haha!), here's his response:

"so the a11g f3's were released a few years back, these are the next
batch a11g f4's open pollination, next batch will be a11g f4 select
(using my fave male and fav female). if you look on icmag or
breedbay there should be some threads on the a11g f3. all of the
releases have been the genius pheno work.

So I guess the f4's I got were an open pollination, but still not sure if they're different from the Genius beans I ordered a few weeks after I ordered the f4's. I'm assuming they are and were just listed differently by seedsman. In any event, I'm gonna pop a few of each ASAP and figure it out. Just a few more weeks!

Sunshine daydream synergy goji og (my new top smoke of all time) what i like about the goji is if i was to offer someone the choice of goji and another 3/4 strsins and ask em to pick just one the chances are ,as long as the other choices have a bit of bag appeal ,its very unlikely they would pick the goji bud as its not got great bag appeal.its not over crystaly,the nugs are fairly average/small size and they dont have much smell.but the taste of em!wowee!i bloody love it.the 2phenos i got were intense earthy pine fuel Smoke.iv never had a such intense tasting bud before the goji.i cant wait for room to pop my nepali og x goji f3 and see what gems i can find.

That's just the light dep greenhouse, they don't get as big. They are actually a couple days into flower.

I talked with Bodhi, and he is stoked I grabbed a pack of the Blue Moonshine x NL #5 sativa pheno. He said he only made about 20 packs and I swooped 2 of them. They are monsters and the vigor is out of control. Bodhi said, " that vigor is the effect of two inbred pure lines crossed, pure f1 hybrid magic." They are outgrowing everything. Here is a picture with a couple mixed in the group, can you spot them?

Those are mixed in with some Ancient OG, Yeti f3's, Black Yeti's, Goji og's. Some notoriously vigorous strains, but the BM x nl#5 is crushing at this point. This is my full season green house. I have another large bed full of starts, but only 12 make the cut. I feel like it's some kind of dating game. Goji pheno #6, you have been dumped! 2.5 yards of soil per plant, nice.

Well the ones in the middle are definetly biggest.
your one lucky S O B getting all those great strains.and if bodhi says its impressive then you know its gotta be somthing special.i take it that level of vigor wouldnt be retained if they were f2,d?
hybrid vigor is a strange and wonderous thing aint it.

I think some hybrid vigor would carry through to the f2's, but it's the f1's that show true hybrid vigor. Like I said before, I got two 400 gallon pots that need a large plant outside of the greenhouses. I think the bm x nl#5 might just take one of those pots. The other might be ancient og or yeti.
