I use cages too.

Sour Dubble isnt Sour LSD and has no ESCD in it. That was a false rumor about REZ ever contributing pollen to my Sour LSD.

The Sour Dubble was actually a cross of my SB and NYCD...

Dubb deserves credit for his work and of course we all used genetics in our work so it's fine.

Just trying to let people know the truth as I see it.

Ah I see... thanks for clearing that up. I, too have heard the Rez pollen rumor.

Rez sucks anyways :)

Nobody likes those nasty little disease carrying, hairy rodents, with their creepy bald tails and funny looking ears... long wiskers and big awkward teeth.

Gross...

Anywho... people come up with strange rumors...

So, Hammerhead has the GG 4 and it's lineage.

It was my Sour Bubble x NYCD cross that was then called Sour Dubble. I never released that cross but I did let .greyskull I believe have some of those first cross seeds.

I still have some I think. It was named sour Dubble because he wasn't sure if it was ESCD or NYCD so that's all the confusion was about.

I don't think REZ spread any false rumor about this but he could have thought it was his ESCD in that cross but actually it was Soma NYCD and my SB. We can show how GG 4 was bred in a new thread.

Ahh gotcha. That's what I thought I remembered hearing. Pretty cool Sour Bubble is within GG#4. I'm happy to have GG#4, but happy to have my Sour Bubble keeper too :)

Howcome you never released it? Any plans for those beans? :o I think "New York City Bubble" would be quite popular :D

Well I made many crosses when I had the opportunity.

I guess Sour Dubble would have been named New Your Sour Bubble.

Very impressed with your sour bubble you had at your booth the only thing I can vape after gg4 and get just as high ...I'm out now but I did just start the pack of SB I picked up so hopefully I find something like what you sold me that was an awesome body stone I got from SB.

Thanks. Sour Bubble is an ancestor to many great strains...GG4 is another.

SB makes up about one fourth of the genetics in GG4 but other fine strains also contributed.

Couple of early pics... taken today, day 30-31.

A select og-ish Sour Lifesaver (SLS#2)

And my OG type SSK (SSK #3) of whom received a paperbag treatment due to fresh pollination to make F2's. She pretty much smells and looks quite similar to my Sour Bubble queen... but maybe larger yielding.

More, and higher quality pictures to come once they near the finish line... Just some quick cell pics here :)

Wow ok it kept telling me I need 12 characters for my name in order to sign up no matter how long I made it.

Anyways B.O.G. I am a WA med patient and I was wondering if you had any seeds out of WA. I was talking to someone over on RIU that said they distribute your seeds, and wanted to check with you make sure that is correct. I've been longing to try some of your strains.

This isn't the thread to ask for a tutorial on cloning, but I will give you some pointers on common aspects that cause clones to fail. Be sure to keep everything VERY clean, wash hands, wear gloves, use clean utensils, etc. Don't allow temps to get over roughly 80 degrees, but don't let drop below average room temperature. 75 is a good temp. Don't put the rooting clones under intense direct light. Only enough light to keep them alive - and this is where I think a lot of beginners fail. It only takes a small amount of constant ambient light, like a weak CFL or fluorescent light a couple feet away, just to keep the plant alive. High humidity improves your clone's chances of successfully living and rooting, so I recommend a clone tray/humidity dome. Some people use RO or distilled water, but I use straight tap water with great success, being as it normally has chlorine to help kill bad bacteria or potential mold. Take clones from a healthy donor plant. Use a very small amount of cloning gel... like seriously just a very small dab. Too much gel causes stem rot. When taking the cuts from the donor plant, immediate dip the cut end into cloning gel or get it into water - as taking too long at this step causes an "air bubble" to form in the stem and greatly reduces your chances of successful rooting.

You can search this forum, as well as the entire internet, for really good cloning tutorials, and I highly recommend doing so, and finding a method that looks easy and practical to you, stick with it and master it. My solid way of getting 99% success rate with first sign of roots in 7-8 days is rockwool with humidity dome, but there are a million ways to skin a cat.

Also, think in simple terms, everything I just told you are great guidelines, but cannabis is a very easily clone-able plant... Just to get an idea of how easy exactly... Take a cutting, stick it in a cup of water and put it on a counter near a window/window sill, and see roots in a couple weeks. Not foolproof and not a recommended way, but just to prove a point!

Good luck man.

And just to keep this thread on topic, I've always had great success cloning BOG strains, always very easy to clone!

I thought one of my colas could use a good make-shift halloween mask... LOL at the smilie...

No but really, when pollinating a single branch, I cover said branch with a bag and give a spray down.
