Dreaming big is good but trying to grow 4oz per square ft isn't even slightly realistic. Look all around the farm at the most skilled growers here. You won't find a single grower get more than 2.5oz/sq ft.

Edit: Sorry, I realized that you are trying to grow 8oz/sq ft. Good luck!

You wont find anyone train even remotely close to what Im doing here either.. people are saying I will get a few ozs I got 4 or 5 at least on my first auto with no training, br30s and some of those blurples you saw there lol.

And it will harm results, the opposite of the purpose of training.

Like I said bring it back down to earth. Lets just take your comments and yield goals at face value. Vegging the plant for the months is cheap and any commercial grow would do it if they could get those kind of weights. They would just set up a bunch of pallet racks at like 2.5 foot height increments and start doing exactly what you are doing. But the thing is they do not. If training to that point provided the weights you are hoping to achieve was possible it would already be employed. I respect your desire and goals but they are just not realistic.
How many grows have you completed?

This is my first train, but the point is to see how much I can get in that space. If everyone could train like that they would, but most people cant train at all, definitely not at the level Im doing. The people who understand main lining no what Im doing, but its to a higher degree then that. Not many people have ever attempted what Im doing

Why is your method better than mine? I have just as many if not more tops as you in less the time with no stress nor stunting.

You cant have more tops then me, thats why its better, thats the only reason its better, my colas will be closer together, mire space, thats it, and it will take 7 months, but if it works in production I can still harvest every other month with clones. What you see in my pics is nothing close to what I will be flowering, I think thats what some people are confusing. I have 2 months left in flower. I knew that before I started, Im right where I planned to be on my first screen right now. You may possibly have no idea what Im doing. I drew it, but this shit is on another level. I welcome all estimates tho, and I super appreciate the help with the lights, I needed better coverage to make anything impressive happen

in another thread, several folks said that more smaller lights was "better" than one bigger one. but who knows.

So you are on your second grow as a farmer. As mentioned above if you could get the yields you are talking about. The method would be employed universally with every farmer. One question I do have for you. Are you removing the large fan leaves?

Maybe it will be when Im done. No one has done it yet. Have you seen it. Its very difficult, thats why Im making this thread, and yes not sure how I would not be removing fan leaves at this stage of this particular grow

I just did a scrog bend yesterday so they're still coming up from below the net but here's mine. What's going to happen with mine (and yours) is that the tops with the thickest stems and most leaf matter are going to grow faster than the others leaving a fraction of the number of total tops. Even if you keep bending them, it's inevitable. Grow some leaves on them and let them grow a bit. you're just stalling and stressing them which will have noticable impacts during flower. that's one of the things you are not taking into account.

I think its all about the shape be your screen. Im already sure in my head that max yield requires way more level colas then what Ive seen grown on here. But to get all your colas perfectly leveled and spaced with a flat mirror light setup as close as possible is to achieve max, with that being said Im also able to take training to a much deeper more valuable place then its being used, if you start digging into mainlining you will see some very impressive stuff. Its not main stream or understood or accepted from guys on here yet, but legal production hasnt been around that long, there are things to be learned. I got into this to make money, is most yeild possible with as little space and lights and duration as possible for that max yeild potential. I started out for a lb in no more then a 3’x3’ screen. Im just saying from what I learned up to two is possible with 450w if extremely trained. Yeild is train. I will have two screens, I already have 140 tops, my plant is not sick, stunted, nothing. Its growing fast, as fast as I cut fan leaves more pop up, the whole screens moving up like a lawn already

Number of tops has no effect on yield above 5/sq ft. In terms of plant shape, above 5/sf ft, the only things you want more of is leaves and roots.

Explain to me how your plant is quite small at almost 3 MONTHS and is still "growing fast" and not stunted.

Thats what Im doing, I just have way more than you already in a smaller space, my screen is much tighter for that reason. but all mine are around the exact same size cause I kept them that way, and also fimmed ALOT early on, I tracked each node and maintained a desired position. Now they will all go up together, I will bend and weave into the flower screen to maintain a complete level flower as I spread them out further to be evenly spaced in the flower screen

I wont have 5sq ft. And because I have 140 tops that are just starting to go up, you havent seen anything yet. 140 tops in 12 weeks, speed, they are brand new tops tho, I need two more months to get them into ready to flower colas

I understand what you are trying to do but it won't go as planned and I can guarantee that. They will grow unevenly.
