Things are looking good man. Word to the wise.....be CAREFUL with the Connie! I wound up scorching my plants a little and I never brought PPM's over 1300. I am actually switching over to Sensi Bloom for a while. I used to live with a "lampworker" he would make some killer pipes. That was my first experience with vaporizing things as well. Just take a nug and drop it into a steamroller that was heated up with propane/oxygen and bam.....never been so baked in my life.:winking0067:

thanks for the headsup i was aware of that already. it runs way hot and im not impressed with much of the AN shit. i know every brand works but AN seems very corporate and huge marketing schemes to get u to spend ur dollar on every additive possible. i like the keep it simple method. Heavy 16 lineup is about as basic as u can get it. commercial grade and easy smeezy. Itll be more intersting to see diff results with all the diff macro nutes.

lookin great as ususal boom, Gnats take forever to leave, i've been dealing with them for a couple weeks now. Cant wait to see that UC setup, I know your style of doing things 110%, And throw a UC setup into that mix.... Shits gana get poppin! lol anyway, How many more home grows you gana do? Or are you gana still fuck around at home just not as productive as the warehouse, like some elite strians and shit. Good luck to ya man, keep that green thumb of yours growin

I dont think ive been over at the canna fourm yet, but that bong is Beautiful! i've fallen in love with the tree arm percs, they just hit so well. Ive got an oil globe that i mainly use for hash, and hash through those percs makes your day lol. heres a video if youve never seen one, in that case go have someone make you one they're really basic.

Flower Update (week 7&5)

Table 1;
PH @ 5.8
PPM @ 1400

Table 2;
PH @ 6.0-6.1
PPM @ 1100

Rez temp @ 78*
Room Temp @ 84* 55-60% RH
C02 @ 1500ppm

-Noticed webbing developing on top (1) plant on table 2. Looks like typical spidermite building... i see tiny little light green eggs or bodies? stacking up in the webbing and leaf tips. i dont see the mite damage on foliage yet. -little specs where plant juices have been sucked out...

Makes me think theres not many adult mites around and they only laid eggs on that 1 plant. i didnt see any other signs on any other plants. I released several more ladybugs; directly onto that exact plant too. Also let out more predator mites to hopefully eat em up.

I was thinking of spraying the plants on table 1 down with Neem Oil. I think its too late for table 2 to get foliage spray; rot issues... or PM.

Please let me know all your suggesitons, Im always down for antipest methods and pest control/kill mehtods. others can learn as well.

Thanks guys here the weekly update;

If u look close u might be able to see the webbing on the top cola and lower leafs...

Table 2; week 5

-i am much happier with the progress of table 2 even dispite the gnat infestation. they seem to have great vigor and ive been able to get them to a healthy color and stance. -Leafs up stretchin towards the light, if u look at table 1; theyre droopy or curled and discolored.

Hope the neem works for ya. I freakin HATE critters in my room. Although I wouldn't mind seeing ladybugs all over the place. Have you considered that option?

Did you see that post about the DJ Short class in Pasadena? I'm thinking I may go. I don't ever wanna be a serious breeder but I do wanna play around with genetics at some point.

Hope ya kick some Spider Mite butt Boomer!!!

Sucks about the mites, Boom - seeing you having to deal with them is making me a little nervous, especially with how vigilant you seem to be - any idea how they might've gotten in there?

I'm thinking I might have to go the same steez as those loony (in a good way) European dudes, Madds and his "twin"...........they look ridiculous, but their room is clean as clean as shit.

Might have to order a whole lab getup and not go in there without wearing it.

lol ya honestly i spend good money and design time to prevent pests but california is notorious for spidermites and locally theyve become immune to certain treatments. but u cant get immune to predator bugs hehe.

i am using lady bugs and predator mites currently. not seeing any worse issues. used the shop vac to suck up the webbing and hopefully sum mites... (idk, saw it done outdoors...)

anyways i sprayed with sum neem and hope this does the trick.

Like u mentioned bob, i pride myself in cleanliness and am OCD about shit. im not surprised that i got mites. ive been waiting for it. ive been using fogger bombs between cycles but sumhow they got in. most likely i dragged them in. honestly ive been considering doin a full body lab suit for the shop setup. its worth it.

I posted this already somewhere else... thought you might get it quicker here :)

If you have webs over the nuggets, the spider mite population is already moving at a fast rate, has been there for a while and thriving. The high temp issues don't help either (they love the high temps).

Call your boys @ GC and see what they recommend.

This far in you are going to want to stay as organic as possible (because of the buds).

Worst case scenario, you are going to have to hit them with avid.

You don't want to play around with mites, they do major damage.

Lol.......I wonder if they make those lab suits in my size.

Anyhow, thanks for giving me one "con" to put on my list of reasons not to live in California; however, the "pros" are certainly winning that battle.

Might join all you boys out there before you know it.

Flower Room Update (week 6 & 8)

I decided to push table 1 a week or two further to see the diff. The results on table 1 are not wat i was looking for so i fig make the best of it and test out diff color trichs and diff harvest methods. Table 2 is lookin much more promising dispite the pest issues.

The flower stretch on table 1 had really long internodes and most my tops are not even connecting buds. so most table 1 harvest will be popcorn nugs. the color seems to be gettin darker on the nugs and sum good trich frost. i havent had a chance to get my microscope out again and see where the trichs are at since ive been home from vegas. last week they were mostly milky white maybe sum clear. a good amount of pistils hairs are turning brown and having been for the past 4 weeks.
Im running my 100can carbon filter 24/7 (last round i didnt even have to use it...)

-that shows u how much aroma diff this crop has.
Now i see why shop setups use 5x150can carbon filters lol.

Anyways heres last weeks cap of feeding;

Table 1;
PH @ 5.9
PPM @ 1350

Table 2;
PH @ 6.0
PPM @ 1250

Rez temp @ 80*
C02 PPM @ 1500
Room Temp @ 79* 55% RH

Pest prevention;
Ladybugs & Predator mites
Feedback; doesn't seem to affect advancing spidermite infestation. Id only use these for prevention not control.

GoGnats in my rez;
Feedback; seems to help control adult population of gnats and havent had any issues, althought adult gnats are still present in room.

New pest solution;
Forbid foliar spray 1.25ml/gal
-mist (not direct spray) over canopy during lights out to allow stomata soak up the solution and will process throughout the plant and kill any eggs/larvae/adult mites and hopefully the gnats.

Thanks to Greencoast for the Forbid and other members online for the pest control suggestions. ill let u know the feedback from the Forbid product.

I had to take a break on hookin up the 1HP chiller since i left town and didnt wanna run sumthing new without knowing it is safe without me needing to be there.

I have lots of tasks this week;
-Finish hookin up the chiller and get my rez temos down to 63* :)
-Take cuttings from last Mothers before i toss em
-Transplant my OG x Bubba & Master Bubba cuttings into 4" rockwool cubes. they will be vegged out on the 4'x4' veg table and transplanted into 3gall pots filled with hydroton and RW crutons. This is my new flower medium choice for the next round. Im hopin to see a big diff between mediums and using the chiller to lower water temps.

Also got my partner ready to roll with his shop setup rockin 2x16site UC DWC setup. Hope he gets his ass on here with a journal already... i know ure watchin bro... haha

Anyways for those who are tired of readin my rambles here is this weeks update. Pls feel free to discuss harvest tips, methods, options, theories, etc.

been running high PPM @ like 1300-1400 on table 1. but the lights were way too close and i had to change out my adjustable sunlifts for chain. im all about chain hanging now, even and simple. the adjustable shit never is even or holds. sumtimes that shit just drops all the way down. ripped out my ducting too. :sick0010:

table 1 is def lookin better. noticing yellowing fans leafs on the 3 target plants that showed spider mite webbing and spots on the leaves. but table 1 is def more uniformed and even tops, with really short internode spacing.

Nothin but good plants here ( As usual :) ) Ya thats some foxtailing for sure, but hey i think the nugs look cool kinda when they do that, Until they start to try and make another nug off that, i had some early foxtailing and ended up with some weird nugs with nugs growing off them, wish i had some pics to show but my damn computer ate a big pile of shit on me so i lost a bunch, What do you think your gana get off these tables? Better then the last round? I'd go look at your last round but im lazy :) Keep em Growin Man!!!

Go to home depot and buy tie down straps for the back of your car (they have 4 or 6 packs for like 20 bucks). You can easily adjust them and some hold up to 500+ pounds which is more than you will ever need.

I use those for my lights and have never looked back :)

FWIW, they are the blue straps that hold up my magnum xxl.
