Excellent thanks will be doing it today I dont see powder mildew as i garden so have an idea of that... but when i trim up all my buds now should i even trim down the bigger nugs prior to cure? just so i can see better? additionally it should form as well during cure stage? i have decided to go smaller jars = more jars just in case a jar gets it? Thanks again in advance.
Not a bad idea but more in the drying stage it can spread keep an eye on it. But to be safe I usually toss a whole branch that gets it but if caught early on a smaller lower bud you can sometimes save the reast of the branch but the best thing to do outdoors is pick off the dead leaves that fall on the plant daily. Those are fungi food and if a dead leaf is on a bud too long it typically gets rot because botrytis goes where the food is. Happy growing ✌️

If it’s hard to get your drying area right for temperature and humidity, depending on the time of year, you can always trim the buds right when you harvest. In my experience, they dry much faster, in about a week to 10 days. We usually cut branches off the tree that are 2–3 feet long, leaving the bottom shoots with buds on them, and use those to hang the branches. Also, make sure you have enough space so the branches aren’t resting on each other while they dry.
