Japanese Beetles. Those F#$&ers decimated the leaves on my grapevine this year. I started using a quart jar and a twig to dispatch them. I knock em off the leaves and they drop in the jar. I dump the jar in the road and do my splat-stomp dance on em. Almost ALL the ones on my vine are hooked up & gettin busy.

I think those of the rotting pear party are other beetles, totally green and quite big.

japanese beetle - Google Search

Looks like a least a few dozen color variations on this type of scarab beetle. I bet you're thinking of what some people call a Japanese beetle, an orange insect that looks very similar to a red ladybug, also similar in size.

This is the one, Cotinis mutabilis, also called figeater beetle, we have a lot of these beetles and fig trees here in Spain.

These are big beetles, you cant compare them to the ladybug you mentioned.
The larvae are also huge, i find them often in the soil.

Started germination for the next spring harvest.
Gonna be mainly old school and a few modern ones.
Also a bit more sativa genetics as i do like the active high, and the resistance against budrot, important with all the caterpillars.

Ak47 x Sweet Tooth3
Santa Maria
Strawberry Cough
Afghan Kush
Bubba Kush
Agent Orange x C99
Jack Herer x Sunshine Daydream
All these from a very generous Vietnam vet that doesnt seem to be active anymore on this site.

Panama (Ace)

Panama x Critical Warlock (my own cross)
(Lemon Tree x Banana Krumble) x Amnesia (also my own)

G13 Haze (from @Kanzeon)

And from the famous Trustfall (not gonna tag him as he's surely having enough tags and dm's)
Chemdog D x Okie
Mac1 x Wedding Cake

I’ve had very bad muck with the mac1 x anything so just beware. I’d run them as extra if anything. Some ready they germinate poor, then a lot of single leaf mutations and the one that was good to (mac1 x okie) which was a fem came out male and when I noticed it I took it out and threw it in the room that was almost done and it switched to female.

I actually like those creatures.
When i come across the larvae in the soil i give them a place with manure where they can be in peace to develop into their next stage, an amazing process.

Besides, they are a protected species here.

Thanks, good to know.
I keep going back to your thread to check on the genetic background of your crosses.
So, finally understand what Okie is made of, now checking where the White in White Runtz is from, think i remember its not White Widow, so maybe the White or she just looks white from the resin...

What kind of lens do you use? Is there a certain setting/filter on your camera? Got a GH6 a couple months ago and still playing around with it. Good shots though, really nice. Not just these but a lot of them on this thread.

Hi there, thanks a lot, great when someone enjoys my pictures.
The ones from Amsterdam were made with my mobile phone, just like most pics lately.

I do edit many pics with the standard editing program on my phone to add some contrast, shadow, brightness or color, or to crop.

Its just a simple phone, nothing fancy.
I also have a good camera, Canon Powershot sx500is but really only use it for pics just before harvest when the buds are most beautiful.

Hey poekie! The white in white runtz I believe is because it’s a creamy version of runtz. Possibly just a different pheno from the original seed hunt.

Gotcha, thanks again !
Good luck with your work, following along, also curious about the Kashmir crosses.
I travelled around in that area close to the Himalaya and apart from the beautiful nature and interesting culture, they got some amazing hash there...

These pets from my neighbour are a cute young couple but seem to be obsessed with trying to get into my garden.

Made some bubble, this is from the 70 micron filter.

Chopping it up to let it dry well.

And this is how i smoke it, usually dont bother about pressing.

Turned out very potent, totally knock out effect, puts me to sleep, great for evening/night smoke.

What is your preferred method of smoking it, out of what kind of device? I love it myself but hate cleaning pipe continuously.

In a joint, weed with a rather small amount of hash, dont need so much as its really strong.
I just take a few puffs and leave the joint in the ashtray.

Yeah i have a nice waterpipe but i dislike cleaning it as well, and i like having a joint in my hand, its become kind of a ritual after so many years...

Doing transplants for spring harvest.
I usually put 2 or 3 regular seeds in 1 pot to get a female.
This one is Persian Pie (Lemon Tree x Banana Krumble) crossed with a male from Trustfalls Triangle Grape Cake.
