Yep, all the creatures do is try to get away when i get close, they never attack without a reason.I've got burrow spiders where I am amd brown recluse. I've found most bugs just leave you alone anyways, especially the venomous spiders. Nature is beautiful and so few appreciate it these days.

Just googled it, seems like crane fly and mosquito hawk is the same creature...Looks like a mosquito hawk.
Yeah they are actually great guards like dogs, or goose that the Romans used.I knew some bikers that kept a goat in their backyard in the middle of the city. It would just tickle them to death when some poor unfortunate would walk out back and turn their back on it! The thing wasn’t just playing either!it’s name was Jezebel! Probably wound up on the barbecue.
