Afghan x Nebula, has started to flower.
Supposed to smell like orange later on, sounds good to me, excellent.

Today i was very surprised to see a wasp biting off pieces of leaves.
I thought it was a grasshopper doing that.

Last year I kept finding fans laying in the dirt. Went over that plant with a fine tooth comb looking for some bug with huge mandibles! Took me two days to figure out the wild turkeys were sticking their necks through the wire and nipping off fans! Lol! I’ve been watching this thread since the beginning. Great thread!

Finding wild turkey with a comb sounds hard indeed lol.
Yeah nature is full of surprises...

We're having a cool break from the hot summer weather, last days its about 10°C cooler then normal, which is fine with me, july and august can be quite unbearable here, even according to the locals.

Glad you enjoy this thread !

Love to see this butterfly fly around, quite a big one.
Could get 1 good pic before it took off.

Wow thats a beauty, i had a small one in my garden for several weeks but i havent seen it lately.
It was making holes in the soil in search of a cool place i guess.
