I've read only a little about this. As you know, actinics are an extremely tight spectrum, 420-430nm only. I personally think you want a bit wider spectrum than that when considering blue light, so my thinking is maybe a 10,000K or 20,000K reef bulb here.

You are as always right on task girl. That matches what I had someone else tell me. And guess what???? This ole reefer still has some 10K bulbs eeeeehawwwww
