Hi all ,

Growing in a drip feed Wilma system .

Using gh trio nutrients at 1.0ec

Ph is 5.8

This is in week 2 of veg and the plants seem to have yellowing to them and can see in the veins of the leaves .

I have the watering hit on for 1 minute every 3 hours

I have added some cal mag but not sure if this is going to fix the issue ?

Don’t mind the other 4 in the soil I’m just testing organic also. They look a lot better then the hydro ones

Any help appreciated .

Yeah it’s a photo. Yeah you think 1.2 would be ok
yep. typically from seedling im at 1.1 for the first week of veg. which is usually around day 7 then 1.2 for the next week, which is usually the start of week 3 from seed and small increases if and when required from there.

My only input is your light is too close... probably why your getting the lighter green In color... im not an expert on hydro at all but on plant analysis alone that's my theory... not showing "taco leaves" from over feeding... no droopy leaves from under/over watering.... it's either a nitro deficiency which I don't think you have.... so it's has to be the light... not close enough to Give any light burn but close enough to show a lighter green in color

What does your 1.0 ec consist of?. I don't use that measure I go by ppm. I use Gh trio + Diamond Nectar and Hyclean for salt cleaning help. in my reservoir. Cal/ mag only through weeks 3-9 of flower. At that size I'd be giving them equal #'s as in 2/2/2/2/1 ml/gallon Micro/Grow/Bloom/ Diamond Nectar / Hyclean ?? 300ppm?? around and if I need ph down just a few drops gets me to 6.00

Next week 3/3/3/3/1 until I flip at 5/5/5/4/1

Was using gh trio micro grow bloom only . 38ml each per 60L tank water

magnesium, calcium in hydro is more demanding during veg. Maybe u could add more nitrogen too but not more than 5-10% u currently give.
Magnesium necessary especially with stronger light.

Or water more often and dont give more nutrients.

I’m doing a full rez change today so I’ll up the nutes to 56ml micro , 53ml grow and 41ml bloom for the 60blitre tank and see how it goes

I suspect cal mag as well…..
Using tap water with a starting 200ppm , I did end up added cal mag 4 days ago but didn’t see any improvements

Would the lower older leaves not improve and stay the same? And just the new growth improve ?

Because new growth maybe seems ok

I only use that stuff starting week 3 of flower. I suspect my well water has enough calcium in it. When I have added it to a grow because others said cal/mag ,cal/mag I've locked up my plants. Its not the go to you think it is. Rarely do I see deficiencies in veg related to a cal or mag deficiency. Mostly over water/ over feed/ too strong a light or no nutes at all.
