I have this little 8 site bucket air cloner..I've already taken some rooted cuts out and and replaced them with more, right now I have 8 strains in there, two in each site...16 cuts.:D

Im done taking cuts for now...
and Im wondering if I can leave 8 rooted clones in the cloner for while instead of putting them in soil?o_O

and if so...I need to know how much and when to fed em.. and when to add what ever else I need to add to the water :bag:

Thanks in advance! ;)

Yes you can leave them in there to grow for a bit. Just try to get them planted before othe roots entangle.
I have a 6 site rainforest 36 looks the same as your pic and I when I used it with cuttings I would just use the feeding schedule I was given with the system if you need the feeding chart to get a idea on how to feed using your system let me know I'll pull it up for ya. Its based off the GH 3 part.

I'm taking notes. Every time I've tried an aerocloner I've had bad results. Thinking I might try Cap's bennies and see how that goes...

that doesnt fill me with confidence. i just built a monster bubblecloner and im hoping for good results as i have some Grapestompers and other rare cuts that you simply cant get in australia. i really dont want to lose them. maybe i should stick a couple in the old faithful coco just to be sure?

this airpump has succesfully run an 8 site RDWC before so it should be able to handle a 2.5gal bucket hahaha.

Just because I haven't had good luck with them doesn't mean a thing. Do what you do and maybe I'll figure out what I did wrong...

its new to me. for yrs i have cut the clones dipped em in clonex then straight into moist coco. i have had great success rates but these little cloners make it look so easy i thought i had to give it a go. i hpe i dont regret this decision.

my alter ego from farmer is an R and D mechanical designer in engineering .....
as a rule for experimentation or testing, never use your entire sample in testing.
I would suggest that if they are truly irreplaceable .... clone them in a tried tested and true method that you are comfy with ..... then once they are cloned .... your sample base is larger (cause you gotsa mom) ..... test away with less dire consequences.

I have some Pink Kush cuts coming my way .... you can bet I will NOT be taking any chances with any cloning process other than the pucks and dome for me.....

FWIW

Look at all the dirt under those nails dam! ppppfffffttttttt........some people....i'll tell yah......must be one of those "farmers" or somethin :D hahaha.....they'll grow in the cloner ken, just feed them light sythetic nutrients, the hydro store actaully carry a feeding supplement to keep the girls thriving in the bucket, i have that same cloner except 13 site. if you see any browing of the roots though i would plant them in solo cups, i would probally plant them in solos anyways just to be safe.......take it easy hope alls well

Thanks Ohio :) Yeah I will keep an Eye on those roots! and I have some sythetic nutrients,

Do I need to change the water every so often? or use a conditioner of some sort?

But Yeah..I will have back up clones in soil for sure...
Im making at least two of each strain I want to save...and more than two of a few..

I just want to watch some roots grow with this thing..

it looks like your temp in the clone room is def below 70 degrees, the water temp that is, so i would say change the water once a week, use a conditioner once they get too big to do that

Ken u sure can grow them in the cloner 4 a bit but I wouldn't recommend it.. When dealing with water then u MUST control the water temp.. Upper 70's can grow some crazy shit in the water that will fuck up ur plants.. U need colder water temps (low 70's) Ask Aligee he knows about this stuff.. He uses those cloners

at 71 degrees bad microbes can start growing, so the ideal water temperature range is 67-69 with an air temperature of about 78,to elaborate, use basic sythetic grow formula at a diluted rate....take it easy west coast brothas!!!
