When I first heard about this process about ten years ago I was like, I’m not doing that to my mains! Then I saw my buddies grow and I was like oh yeah, I’ll be trying that next round. I’m glad I did! Been doing it for the past ten years.I've 8 I'm about to flip I may just try that on a few to see what I get...I found if I top too close to flipping I'll get 2 small pine cone satellites but If I wait a week I'll get a longer stem and bigger buds off it.
You’re growing a tolerant wife in the basement???Nice. Here's a pic of some old grow literature. I wish we had a fur baby.... :(. I think very soon.
Also, PupeCarver.....
"I'm just an old stoner with lots of free time and a tolerant wife growing in my basement."
I don't even know how to get one and you have one growing in your basement!??
;)
Because I have one or three waiting to get into the big tent I need to top usually twice before they up pot and move to the 3x3. Then I FIM to spread them out. At this point they have a trunk more than a stem and can take my LST/HST.I’m hurting for time this round, really pushing to just get one fim in before flipping. Because of the process I do, I need that week between five and seven so I can repeat a process the week of going to flower. I do it on week five and again on week seven. These ladies have grown like a house on fire! Needing to table them.
well to be honest the wife (a veterinarian) says it’s not good and could be a matter of time.. he has diabetes and can’t really walk..
Dude.....I'm totally with you, and wishing the best for Ben no matter what. 2 yrs ago we lost our dear Cali, she had diabetes, we tried medication, then insulin shots......she was 18, it was really tough, as I'm sure you know. All I can say is that if we don't want the heartbreak we could just not have them......but then you don't get the love. And that works both ways. You give them a great life. You done good.
Are you kidding?? If you stumble on a tolerant wife, she should get all the grow space available! .........ok I better stop..... ;)You’re growing a tolerant wife in the basement???That’s kinda kinky! I’d move her back upstairs and grow weed down there were I you!
Exactly why I will never be put in the basementAre you kidding?? If you stumble on a tolerant wife, she should get all the grow space available! .........ok I better stop..... ;)
I've always just wanted enough to smoke and get me through to the next harvest....I'm now loaded so Its more for fun.....I don't know what I'm going to do with this next bunch...I sorta got caught up in it......I just can't kill off healthy plants and I don't know anyone that wants them.......I've tried I'd have been happy with 1 of each but I take 2-3 cuttings just to make sure and when they all grow 4 = 9 ......1 is still in a 3/4 gal pot 9 weeks in veg....then there's ugly....my revegging auto that's coming along nicelyWhen I first heard about this process about ten years ago I was like, I’m not doing that to my mains! We are all hung on certain aspects of the grow. Some want huge buds, some want fatter buds etc. My goal has always been the most take for the least real estate. This process makes that possible.
I feel watched! Lmaooo!Because I have one or three waiting to get into the big tent I need to top usually twice before they up pot and move to the 3x3. Then I FIM to spread them out. At this point they have a trunk more than a stem and can take my LST/HST.
My problems start when an issue occurs that adds time to the current harvest date. Plants waiting tend to get deficiencies. And I’m too noob to solve some of these.
So now we watchyou, but not in that creepy way.
Literally a victim of your own success! My fault, I just hadddddd to pop one of all the new seeds. Well my germination rate was a hundred percent, sooo here we are.
I do that too. I’m lucky in the aspect that ppl will drive out here and haul them off. Otherwise I’d have to trash them as I’m always struggling for more room.I've always just wanted enough to smoke and get me through to the next harvest....I'm now loaded so Its more for fun.....I don't know what I'm going to do with this next bunch...I sorta got caught up in it......I just can't kill off healthy plants and I don't know anyone that wants them.......I've tried I'd have been happy with 1 of each but I take 2-3 cuttings just to make sure and when they all grow 4 = 9 ......1 is still in a 3/4 gal pot 9 weeks in veg....then there's ugly....my revegging auto that's coming along nicely
I'm all about breeding, variety, working strains, growing them larger and seeing how they naturally develop, growinglandraces and heirlooms.........we use so little, I mean maybe a hit or two a few nights a week, the occasional edible....it probably takes us more than 3 months to go through an ounce. So maximizing space and time aren't important at all. But it's great to look at different techniques here and see what others are doing.......it's all very interesting, and even if there are systems and methods that aren't for me, there's always something to learn and questions to ask.I've always just wanted enough to smoke and get me through to the next harvest....I'm now loaded so Its more for fun.....I don't know what I'm going to do with this next bunch...I sorta got caught up in it......I just can't kill off healthy plants and I don't know anyone that wants them.......I've tried I'd have been happy with 1 of each but I take 2-3 cuttings just to make sure and when they all grow 4 = 9 ......1 is still in a 3/4 gal pot 9 weeks in veg....then there's ugly....my revegging auto that's coming along nicely
I reopened an old grow space. A two by seven closet that I had grown in for about ten years. I have three plants shoved in my five by five.. I normally run two and one big honking gal in my four by four, so we gonna make it happen!Literally a victim of your own success!
I said f#ck it on the weekend and used my backup equipment to setup a second grow tent. Just need HVAC. Might visit the grow store after the dentist.
comma I missed one comma and I've a wife growing in my basementYou’re growing a tolerant wife in the basement???That’s kinda kinky! I’d move her back upstairs and grow weed down there were I you!
Dig this. One of the "problems" I'm going to have is what to do with it. This is why the price of weed has plummeted, which is a good thing, unless you're a commercial grower or otherwise need to make a living from it. But things will adjust. Some growers will find it to not be worth it and stop growing........I do that too. I’m lucky in the aspect that ppl will drive out here and haul them off. I give away as much as I smoke. I donate flowers greenery etc for ppl having RSO made. I give to RA suffers, cancer patients. Anyone in need that’s not healthy and just too damn lazy to grow their own. Makes my heart feel good, makes them feel better so it’s a win win.
The law changing here even made that legal for me to do
I have seeds just need to find one more Indica for bed time. (Back pain and can’t stop thinking keeps me up.)Bad thing is this.. I just got all those seeds from the photo contest.. Thai, Cambodian, Hawaiian.. Now, imma have to sit on my planting hands!
IIRC scientists just found another aspect or part of the plant that is at leas 10x more potent than the current 30% THC.Dig this. One of the "problems" I'm going to have is what to do with it. I think there will be a market for "old school" weed. We may have reached the limits of super potent, crazy named varieties dripping with resin......smells and flavors will continue to be hunted, extracts will increase in popularity......but there will be a good opportunity for people who can grow heirlooms and landraces, classic strains.......properly, and cure them properly. As well as old school sifted and pressed hash.
Ha!!! Language....You can write "How to serve humans", unless it's a cookbook. ;)comma I missed one comma and I've a wife growing in my basementlol..........In fact she doesn't come down here at all. Maybe in the summer but not in the winter....This was a daddy long legs nightmare when we bought this place 30 years ago The people we bought this place from blocked it off from the upstairs?????....huge old furnace cob webs and spiders........she hasn't got over that and there still a few above the duct work...She won't voluntarily go where there' maybe spiders
Ya unless they invade my space they're fine....When they get out of control I'll go along with a piece of dowling and twirl it around but they stay to them selves pretty much in the dark spaces behind my ducting.Ha!!! Language....You can write "How to serve humans", unless it's a cookbook. ;)
Cellar spiders are funny. They'll set up and make many more cellar spiders, except there's not a lot for them down there because it's so chilly. I always leave a spider alone. They're doing us a favor. Now if we could only get them to eat the f@&$ing fake ladybugs!!! Man I hate them!! Argh!!!
