So the big plant is on its third day of drying. I'm taking little bits to see how it progresses, and also because it's already better than anything around here. I am leaving them in brown paper to dry. They are pretty delicious but definitely need to dry more then a good 30 day cure. It's keeping about 50 RH in there, I'm gonna put the humidifier in to keep it at about 60. May take that little plant down tonight if I suspect there's rot getting in.

I've probably had 8 little nugs from different stems and so far I'm up to 3 seeds. It's literally barely an annoyance. I did two little dime sized nugs in the grinder and the kief tray is covered. What I can get here I'd normally get that much after grinding like a quarter through it, no shit.

Day 59 of 12/12. First cut has had 72 hours of drying and is looking the shit. But the other two plants I'm running with are showing some stuff. The big one at the back has a couple seeds at the bottom buds like its sister but the frost on this is awesome and not seeing any on the big nugs. Just wanna see some more amber on the trichomes, not even all milky yet. The little one that had rot on the bud is frosting and the flowers look ripe but long way to go on trichomes. Sticky as all hell though.

I'm now thinking the one that took two weeks longer than the others to flower has been the problem all along. It's almost nine weeks in and now revegging. Feel like just getting rid of it now and allowing myself to pump all the resources of the Spider Farmer into these two killer plants and frost them right up. Be keen to hear what people think but it's a weird plant. Either way I'm switching to just RO and crystal clear to get a good flush into the two that are close. Don't think that's going to help the weird one.

The upshot is I'm 72 hours into drying and already have better bud than I've had in years. The next two plants are better from what I can see.

Check my plants pretty closely anyway but really looked over the one that had the rot, took a bit more of just to be sure, you can see the stem is clean where it's been cut. No signs anywhere else on the plant of rot so I'm going to give it a few more days to nug up.

Nah It's black as Black in there. Even the room itself is dark as a deep water cave then they're in a tent inside that. Do you reckon keep that sucker or toss it?

I would take it now. Let the rest mature on the 1/3 - 1/3 - 1/3 plan.

Might wanna check your timer? Something is causing it reveg I don’t think genetics really do that. Maybe a little to much N by the look of the claw but reveg do weird shit, as to whether to toss that’s on you. I’d try to figure out what caused it thought

Ok so... Went in that room today and with the sun where it is in the sky now there's a bunch of light that leaks through around the door seal. Easily fixed with some adhesive foam. But that's obviously been happening for a month or two. But I had the flap open at the bottom to help ventilation, there would've been photons creeping in for sure. Might explain why runty girl that was lowest to ground went all reveg, and the buds around the very bottom of the other one, which I picked at 56 days, had a few seeds in. I expect that fix on the leak at the door will remove future issues, so don't want to talk bad on the seeds when it was likely the environment all along.

Question still remains what to do with this big revegging thing?

When you say take it do you mean take it and throw it in the bin?

Do you think those flowers will amount to much given their current state? Still very immature and lots of white hairs. Not sure what they would come up as when dried?

Now I have never had your issue for a harvest. I've cut clones in flower and revegged but here is some food for thought.

Once a plant is revegging it will no longer put energy into the buds and will start putting all the energy back into vegetative growth. So there is no point waiting to see any improvement in bud quality cause it won't happen.

1.imo if close enough to harvest chop a revegging plant and accept it for what it is.... no it won't be up to its potential but that's the truth.

2.Fix the light cycle and flower them out knowing it's gonna take a lot longer and likely push you next grow way back. So is the time worth it to you.

If the top colas are close you can take them and the flower out the rest.

There is no way to fix this, it's just the sad truth of the situation and it sucks.

Not at this point... possibly for edibles or hash but even then quality will be severely impacted.

Yeah that's my gut feel too. Put it down to experience. Had some watering issues at the start but this really explains the late start and weird stretch and leaves. Got four clones of her so will see what she can do under the Spider Farmer with the light leak issue fixed.
