I'm surprised and jealous of your experiences...

I'll drink almost too much... hari hachi bu... then I think about weed and get an insatiable appetite for it... then I smoke and get the spins and subsequently nauseated etc.

Might be that I don't give enough time to actually metabolize the sheer volume of alcohol and I'm actually over-imbibed by the time I get that craving...

A good thing I don't make an irresponsible habit of that over-imbibing.
It's best to start at roughly mild inebriation or you're asking for trouble imo. Then you can bring them up together.

So there are two major phenos of widow: leaning toward the kerala and leaning toward the Brazilian. Plant number two sure looks like the best of the five so far and I'm hoping like hell it's a male because that sounds like it would have the potential for wicked sativa leaning hybrids if crossed with a sativa leaning mom.

Thank you mr Milson for sharing your work! Love visiting planet Milson and snagging good info.
Thanks Mosh! Glad you can get something from these insane streams i have on here sometimes lol.

I thought about that course like first thing this morning. I did not know how pain worked in the brain to the extent they explained it and the thought of pain perception as a homeostasis is like pornographically interesting for my brain lol.

If this doesn't scream "mix strains to make better medicine for pain" then idk, our ears are different.

But MAKE THEM ACTUALLY DIFFERENT.
Until we can better identify and map individual compounds, yup.

Saw somewhere that Cannabis protects certain areas of the brain from alcohol damage. I will try to dig up the reference.

edit:
This isn't the original article I was thinking of, but very cool

Gosh just think of the next generation of moms with college kids. "Don't forget to smoke your weed if you gonna drink alcohol". "Ok mom, Gosh"
I think it’s important to recognize that cannabis’ effects on a still developing brain are not the same as those on a fully developed adult brain. Research on one does not constitute an equivalent with the other.

EDITED TO ADD: Just the mom in me. :-)

I think when the science finally catches up we will find out that our own endocannibanoid systems are slightly different person to person and have a large part to do with how we process these things...possibly the same way certain people can't digest lactose, or the way certain people get very red in the face from a tiny bit if alcohol? Just the fact that we have evolved over the millennia to have receptors in place for these compounds tell me all I need to know though 👍

Bioindividuality is a term being popularized in (at least) the functional medicine field.
Sounds exactly like what it means and there's so much weight behind the mentality/reasoning and it explains why western medicine fails people so often.

Yeah, this was an animal trial so, I would basically just consider it a proof of concept.
And I know it was just an off the cuff remark, but kids and developing brains (and lungs, as my first job out of respiratory school was with babies and kids with trachs on vents) are something I don’t even kid about. It may come to be routine at some point, where the research will support its use routinely in juveniles. But for now? It’s our responsibility to protect their developing bodies and minds.

Yeah I totally agree, part of the reason why I used college students as the example in my joke. But depending on what research you look at that may still be too early. Thanks for watching out.

If only I could have convinced young hortulanus of this.
