Captain's Log: Dispatches from Planet Milson

I’ve reread this a few times and I still need to read it again. I’d kind of like this to “stick.” Then you need to get as sticky as the buds you just harvested 🤣

Haze female

She has stayed short bc some abuse especially w.r.t. repotting bc reasons. But now she is looking quite nice!

I think the spectrum on these leds helps keep plants sativas short and wanting to branch. I strongly suspect far red factors in too (shade signalling).

This, on tolerance, is freaking fascinating to me when I consider the complexity of modulation and how a "ceiling" would work.

Also this book is so cool.

The part of the brain that builds the least tolerance is the part affected by parkinson's......

And the part that builds the most is that of memory and consciousness....

Hmm.

This feels very juicy and dense with meaning for me........

Modulating that system seems...relevant.....because his system is currently being modulated poorly and causing him issues......

Hmm.

So my dad has cb2 receptors on his damaged neurons that are inhibited by cbd and activated by thc.

Seems relevant.....

Quite.

God i love finding a vein of good info it's so addicting.

The diverse CB1 and CB2 receptor pharmacology of three plant cannabinoids: Δ9-tetrahydrocannabinol, cannabidiol and Δ9-tetrahydrocannabivarin

Cannabis sativa is the source of a unique set of compounds known collectively as plant cannabinoids or phytocannabinoids. This review focuses on the manner with which three of these compounds, (−)-trans-Δ[9] -tetrahydrocannabinol (Δ[9] ...

Yeah, he has been on the mend a bit, but if he shows good vigor from here then I'm very interested.

I plan to let them go as long as is useful to decide between them.

Widow of interest. He has again had huge stress and so his leaves are still recovering. Idk if you can see from the video but his stem feels hollow and he smells very interesting....

He is about a week behind in terms of flower light schedule because haze.

My general feeling is that shorter haze male sure looks like he is growing with a structure closer to NL....that is of interest. Also the sacs look pretty tight.......

Hmmm

Really interested in their ripening speed. The haze girls are sure as hell taking their time, as expected lol.

How about some more dad hunting pics?

First off, the structure on this NL leaning male is really grabbing my eye. Interesting floral cluster density developing....right?

Then there's this guy. Some really loose sacs out there but they seem pretty big and he stinks more than the other one....

He's just huge.
Then we have Mr. Widow, who is floppy his stem is so hollow and stinks like hell, including some pine.....

I am so pumped about him.

Thanks man! It's been a mess logistically but it is great learning and so much fun to play with in my imagination. Also my first time observing pheno differences since to this point I have done one per strain lol.
